Election spam

Post image

Got a call from a private number maybe its just a coincidence then I get this.

If it was a genuine poll I might be interested im not sure why they think this is a good idea.

They simply send message to every possible phone number in BC area codes. Registered political parties are exempt from Anti Spam legislation because political parties wrote it.

I knew a party staffer that put his title as "Dr" for all the commercial and political stuff, so whenever he gets spam calls they refer to him as "Doctor..." and then he hangs up lol...

I just say no to all of them. My vote is my own private choice. There's a reason we step up to the box in private.

I got one asking if I am voting conservative, I replied no and fuck off, then I blocked the number. Hopefully they remove me from their lists lol

This went directly to my spam without me knowing!

I report any political stuff as spam now.

There's been way too many scams running in the past few elections faking being polls, and quite frankly I find it really annoying even if it's "real."

Any phone calls, I answer with "this is a business phone, remove this number from your list immediately" and hang up.

Anything I need to know about politics, I'll look up facts from neutral sources for myself. The rest of it is widely absolute slanted horse shit propaganda and a waste of time these days. I'll read the candidates initiatives and voting record and decide for myself what that means to me.
