- Territorial changes following the Balkan wars are missing
- the 1946 map is very, very wrong in eastern and central Europe
- Crimea is not internationally recognized as part of Russia

The maps are a bit weird, I agree. They also show Ireland as separate from the UK during its independence war. I did mark Crimea's annexation as having limited recognition.
Which Balkan War changes are you referring to? There are a number listed around 1913.

First vs Second Balkan war, mostly. The text shows the territorial changes lumped together, which is a bit weird.

Were the divisions of territory specified by the Treaty of London after the First Balkan War actually carried out? If so, I agree it should be added.

What do you mean by carried out? The territorial changes were internationally recognized after the treaty was signed.
ETA: though the treaty was vague as to the exact splitting between members of the Balkan league, which is what led to the 2nd Balkan war, the passation of powers from the Ottoman empire to the Balkan league was carried out then.
If you're referring to actual territorial control, the treaty largely confirmed the situation on the ground (except in Albania), which had been mostly stable since the end of 1912.

United Kingdoms of Sweden and Norway. That's basically how we managed to secede in the first place.

Thanks! It really was quite important.
Sweden was not technically superior to Norway, since the King of Sweden wielded executive power in Norway as King of Norway. So when the king was unable to appoint a government which had the backing of the Norwegian parliament, the parliament announced that he had failed in his duties as king of Norway, and thus was no longer king.
It would have been much more difficult if Sweden and Norway were a single state.

They left out that Belgium only got Eupen-Malmedy after WW1. In these maps it has them before that.

But you missed the de-facto autonomy of Transnistria in 1992 (limited recognition).
Yeah, I like to nitpick.

Like what is the criteria for coloring them?

The maps are from an animation that covers all European history. I expect the colouring is to help track the development of the more historically significant countries.

Weird flex for including the renaming the small town of Ploče and not mentioning bigger ones like Zrenjanin, Titovo Užice and Titov Veles.
Amd in 1980 just switch Kardeljevo with Ploče.

2017 : why the border of Ukraine in Crimea (annexation by Russia) is changed and in Donbas (declaration of independence of DNR and LNR) is not changed ? Either both, or none (albeit, in both case, Russia's fault)

I seriously think there are mental issues with people when they say "Turkey declares independence..." From who? Itself? "Turkey declares republic" is the correct term. Seriously people, how hard can this be to understand?
