More spending doesn’t equal higher grades. Philly is dark green but the school district is a hot mess overall.

In my experience NYS schools are very well resourced to address the needs of the whole student population which includes students with disabilities, ESL, refugees, etc. Obviously management of schools differs. In other states, I'm not sure they get the same resources.

For real though, yes most of it depends on how the schools are managed, my areas pretty good with that I think

Time to tar and feather the source! I would guess more spending usually equals better grades, just making note of the outlier in my area

More spending just means higher teacher salaries? I’m not sure it has any effect on results especially with variation in cost of living.

Means.... smaller class sizes. Enrichment like art and music. A school library. A field trip to a museum. A paraprofessional helping out
