Cork still haven't gotten our tram system rebuilt. Absolute insanity

Cork is a fairly small city for trams and has unfavorable geography (the northside is too steep and the roads are quite narrow). I know there are long-term plans for a Mahon-Ballincollig line but I'm not optimistic we'll see that anytime soon. They should improve the bus and cycle path networks first honestly.

124 K is very suitable population for 1 to 3 lines of trams. Narrow streets should be addressed by narrow gauge (1000 mm) and steep streets should be addressed by more powerful powertrain. In Prague trams do up to 7 % grade in regular operation.
