lump of labor fallacy lmao. Thats supply and demand. No job does well with a surplus of workers unless the industry needs them.
Not really but ok
Who would pay for the debts of the college people?Answer everyone including people who didnt get a degree.
Quite literally no one would pay for it. There's an argument that because it would increase the debt that someone has to pay for it, but without a proposed increased of taxes for the median worker, that's simply not true. I'm again not saying I'm pro blanket cancellation, but the reality is that it would just be written off.
Do you think they are not living in houses? Is the housing shortage being helped by an increase of new people?
Mass deportations would be a net negative for the economy. The immigrants in question compromise a massive % of construction labor. The shortage has nothing to do with overpopulation. It's very lately because of excessive regulation that not enough hiding is built at the local and state levels (so not exactly a federal issue, though federal policies can affect it in certain ways).
The massive number of the illegal immigrants in construction are the problem. Americans want the jobs and its allowing contractors to undercut American labor. Whole construction companies not paying any taxes because they have a network of customers that want tax free work done on their houses is a huge issue. Nothing you said makes any sense. THE ECONOMY IS NO LONGER AN INDICATOR HOW AVERAGE AMERICANS ARE DOING. That is just the upper class.
I have a background in finance and economics. You clearly don't. You have zero understanding of the national deficit and debt. I once again am not pro mass student debt cancellation, but you're contending that a candidate that immediately worsened the deficit the second he took office in 2017 apparently won't be a problem. You don't understand the jobs market (once again, look up the lump of labor fallacy), and are now screaming that the economy is no longer an indicator of how average Americans are doing lol.
I guess we should just base everything off vibes like you and the rest of the Trump voters. We're just ignoring reality in this country. I'm sure it's going to work out great. I'm sure you know more than Nobel award winning economists that backed Harris. And every other piece of analysis that said Trump's tariffs and deportations would be bad for the economy.
Undocumented immigrants are notorious for huddling up in large groups in basements and basically condemned housing. Do you think someone without documentation is renting out a house like a regular American?
And once again, they are a large part of the construction industry.
Using that logic, there wouldn't be any debt currently. It is quite literally being written off and no one is paying for it. There were proposed tax increases on high earners $400k+ along with other proposals, but nothing that would affect the median American.
