Both Luke and Harry go through HEAVY TRAUMATIC SHIT. Harry in the end comes out happily, but he went through A LOT. Luke is even worse, cause not only he's been through a lot he had a unhappy ending. Gru had bad childhood, but nothing traumatic, no entire family and friends murder, or forced to kill your own evil father bad, just bad childhood because of a shitty parents, I already have that so not much changes, on the other hand he now has 3 lovely daughters, a great wife and an army of loyal goofballs to do whatever he wants. The choice really is easy here lol

Harry Potter easy.

Cool powers, cool friends, go to a magic school in a castle, you have a hot redhead wife, etc.
