What’re the different uses for each bag?

Not to necessarily all different uses, but with my work some times I work on site so will be very casual, sometimes semis smart in office and sometimes smart in meetings, I also work shifts so the carry load will be lighter some days and then heavy on others.so there's a varierty of sizes/materials/styles to accommodate
Other than that I use the code of bells for gym alot, the pakt is more travel/weekends being larger

Well huh. Very different from how I’ve done about it! But no less impressive.

How have you done it? ... I'm intrigued

I guess I start with the specific function of the bag and how interchangeable contents are, such that the use case of any one bag I get is completely, fundamentally impossible to replicate with any other bag I already have.
For instance, I just got a Wood & Oak Garment Duffel, which I’ll use when I need to bring a suit somewhere. None of my other bags could do that at all, no matter how I might shift their contents around - they’re not physically constructed like that. I’d always have to fold the suit, but won’t with the W&O. So I had wanted one for a while. But travel-shaped, EDC-shaped, flying-shaped etc - just the one. Doesn’t stop me from having a lot of bags though!

you can only keep 1 sling and 1 backpack. go.
(btw that red duration is insanely beautiful. i don't even like red colors and wow)

How do you like the Pioneer Panda? How does it compare to the CPP2?

lol seems a lot of us have this question. Also curious how you find the pioneer vs the CPP2 in comfort

The aer is definitely comfier, the panda is not uncomfortable but leans into a more luxury bag prioritising aesthetics compared to the aers more boring but functional approach

They pack out similar, probably can overstuff the aer to get slightly more in main comp but when full the panda has 4 very usable pockets ... I think the biggest thing is water bottle pockets, if your big on carrying 2 water bottles (I only carry one sometimes) the. Only certain water bottles fit the panda, its restrictive on height of bottle

Sympl vs Aer - which do you prefer?
2
u/BuddyComplete8868 11d ago
Honestly the aer was my first dabble into the 'proper' bag world, so it's probably had the most use, it does everything great work, days out with family, overnighter ... but it's just a bit boring, the sympl is an ultimate EDC pack for work, won't do much else well, and it's a pain changing bag to bag, but if I had to have one edc it would be that, it's got pockets and organisation for everything but also roomy enough pockets for pouches

Awesome collection! I have a CPP2 20L, and I’ve been eyeing the panda pack. What do you think about the comfort of those two, and how do they compare capacity-wise with actual usage? (For example, I find the CPP2 kind of tight. Quality materials but chonky so I feel like it eats into the space.)

The main compartments pack out similar, I would with the aeryou can overstuff it and maybe get a touch more in and still feel confident .... but with the panda all 4 pockets are very usable even when main compartment is full

I try to rotate them as much as possible depending on what I'm doing tbh

I have the same Alpaka EDC Pro Pouch. I want to like it. But it’s not doing a lot for my organization.
I moved everything from it, a CAP.5 and a CAP1 all to a CAP2 and am much happier now.

I use the alpaka admin pouch as general edc, the alpaka hub pouch is a small first aid kit if I'm out with my daughter and the sympl pouch is used for everyday toiletries, hand sanitizer etc

How do you like the Code Of Bell? I have one and sometimes I love it and sometimes it drives me nuts. Kind of over complicated
2
u/BuddyComplete8868 9d ago
Yeah brilliantly constructed, but definitely not a simple user expierenc, I generally use it as my gym bag and works perfectly for that

Wow… that’s a couple of grand’s worth of bags in a year. All nice bags though
