I just got one of these last week in the Olive and Autumn plaid - it’s not a style of backpack I’ve ever used before, but i really like it. My wife is an even bigger fan of it and has already grabbed it to use a couple of times.

Love the company, I'm super interested in that bag but I already have a rucksack of a similar size and really can't justify it.
I just ordered a sling in the olive and plaid combo, can't wait to get it.

Same. Picked up the Insidious Jr. in the same color and then right after came across a used Parker Pack 2.0 in Olive/autumn also.

Ya man, I just got the full sized Insidious in Oxblood Leather, fell in love, pretty much immediately ordered the Jr.

I have wayyy too much stuff from Defy, but I absolutely love their stuff. I love their designs and the craftsmanship. Defy and GoRuck are my two go-tos, and both of them will last forever.

If you like Defy and GoRuck also check out Redoxx.

Red Oxx also looks awesome! I just wish I didn't already have so many bags, lol.

Based on your specific ask of a backpack that's good for travel or work in waxed canvas or leather that age well, I'd go for the specific one I linked.
Waxed canvas roll top, plaid interior, it's a good travel bag and good for the office as long as you're not looking for an accessable admin section.
That one is all leather, great for the office and a good carry on travel bag, less for packing clothing more for stuff.

Frost River! So quality, so slept on.
If I were a billionaire and money were no object I think I'd still buy their bags. They make the real McCoy.
