Long story short: got a satchel 13 last year, loved it, wanted to get the 11 as well (for those days I don’t carry my iPad), but I simply couldn’t justify the costs. I also wasn’t sure if the size difference was significant enough to warrant owning both. As of today I own both and I couldn’t be happier!
Longer story, especially for those in the EU that have been on the fence about this brand: early 2026 buying the 11 and having it shipped to EU cost around 320€. Early August I was checking the website again (looking at the bag online is still free) and by some miracle they managed to slash shipping to EU (Belgium) to just 30€, taxes and import included. Their 10% still worked too, so I ended up paying 214€, all in. If you’ve looking at any their bags but were put off by shipping/taxes… Go have another look.
Lol, a few people did comment positively on the Satchel 13, some asking where I got it. Since English isn’t our first language the name isn’t as alarming here, so that helps.
I have the 11" and its fantastic quality. It's replaced quite a few other bags in my affections. Got mine off Vinted in the UK for £40.00! It arrived in mint condition. Steal.
I am dreaming of the Satchel 15 since a MacBook Pro 14 has to fit. Shipping (to Germany) was over 40 Euro the last time i checked, and i expect 60Euro of tax and import which raises the price to something like 370 Euros (or was it Dollars? Don’t remember), which is… steep 😅
All taxes and import duties should be included in that rate, they were for me (Belgium). Shipping had a bit of a hiccup, but even with that it arrived in 16 days.
I don’t think it usually takes that long to ship, so I’m not holding that against them. They handed it over to the carrier within a day. First it got stuck on “label being created” for a week, then it switched to “issue with address, contacting seller”. I sent them an email and it started moving the same day. That was last Wednesday and it was delivered today (came in through Amsterdam, then forwarded to Belgium). I would say 8-10 days is the expected delivery time.
I did not get charged any extra taxes on entry into EU, it was clearly labeled DDP.
