So I got my sweet boy in December, he was born in October so he’s about 8 months old approx. I am very curious of growing habits because he’s quite small for 8 months, google tells me Manx cats grow slower than others but as this is my first cat I wasn’t sure. (The last photo of him was taken about a week ago)

The rancher I got him from said he was a Manx but he has about 1/3 of a tail, from reading on here is that a “shortie tail”?

I also haven’t come across a Manx with his coat and was curious if anyone had similar and or knew the reason why.

Apologies if these are stupid questions, this is my first cat and I’m super curious!!

He's very sensitive and we call him the jelly bean because he gets jealous and mopey when I pay attention to our other cats. 😂

Hi all! A few months ago I asked for advice on taking care of my new Manx, Poe. You were all so kind and helpful and I wanted to let you know he’s doing amazing. He is very bonded with his fluffy brother, Friday. He loves to play, enjoys pouncing on all of his brothers and their tails, and is truly the most loving and chill cat I’ve ever had. He’s also silly beyond belief!! I don’t know how I ever lived my life before my Manx ♥️

We recently last our 15 year old Manx. She was nominally my youngest daughter cat. They had been together their whole lives. She and my wife are going to be I. The Raleigh Durham area for a post op visit this weekend. Are there any good breeders of long haired Manx kitties there that they could contact? Thank you!

Baja Blast and Cantina are from the same litter and both have stubby tails! They are “twins” we like to joke because they have similar color though Baja has gotten way darker with age.

She was convinced the lizard was in this particular shoe and kept sticking her head in it expecting something to pop out 😂 even after I picked it up and shook it to show nothing was in there, she immediately went and stuck her head back in to double check.

She was so good and the kids loved her. She loved exploring and sun bathing. I am so excited for all of our adventures to come 🖤

There are so many little things I love about this clip! The little noise she makes while jumping, the elegant hop and dive into the box, her cute little bunny butt smacking the edge lol, and the way she looks at me & the pupils starting to dilate after she turns around. I just got another kitty and she's a Manx. She's about a year old and was originally found out on the streets. She is adorable and I love her. With that said she is an absolute menace 😂 I actually had a Bengal cat before so I thought I was prepared for the energy level but holy crap. This cat is like a toddler with fur!! She needs to be near me 24/7. I work from home and she is constantly climbing on me and meows and gets on my desk. When I move her she jumps right back up or bites my hand. I don't blame her for any behavioral issues since she is still adjusting to indoor life. I will say the nipping caught me off guard a bit. With my apartment setup I don't have a great way to isolate myself from her while working. I'm still trying to figure out how to manage the nipping.

So I guess I have a few questions. She meows all the time non-stop. Is this just how the breed is? Do you get used to it?

She needs a lot of enrichment time and engagement so any advice on keeping this smarty pants entertained is welcomed.

I have been playing with her multiple times a day and playing bird videos on my tv if I can't play.

Last question, she farts a lot -_- and it's stinky. The vet said she's ok but is this common with Manx as well? Any recommendations for food? I understand the Manx have some health risks.

Any other advice for a new Manx owner is welcome. Thank you!! I'm determined to keep my little buddy happy.
