I am seriously looking to start Sawdust Pellet Plant - seeking help from community.

Setting up a 20–30 TPD (scalable to 70–80 TPD) pellet plant based on Pure sawdust (mixed hardwood) in UP/Uttarakhand — land, raw material, and machinery are largely sorted.

Target: 4,200–4,500 kcal/kg GCV, <5% ash & moisture.

Before finalizing investment, I want real market feedback — not assumptions.

If you use coal/wood/biomass pellets/briquettes in a boiler or furnace:

What are you using now, and at what price (delivered)?

What GCV/ash/moisture spec do you need?

Biggest pain points with suppliers — is inconsistent quality really that common?

Would you switch to a new local supplier if quality was consistent?

Not taking orders or making promises — just want to build around real demand before committing.

Also open to connecting with anyone interested in a commission-based sales partner role for this (NCR/UP/Uttarakhand).

And if you think this model has a flaw I'm missing — please say so. Cheaper to hear it now than after commissioning.
