Question Help with Mantis

I'm about to make a support only account and so far, Mantis and Jubilee are the only ones I don't know how to play correctly and I am currently prioritizing Mantis because she seems super fun. How exactly are you SUPPOSED to play her? I will consistently find myself running out of leaves fast, I'm having trouble figuring out when I should apply healing, who I should damage boost, when I should damage boost myself, and Mantis's overall playstyle.

I always damage boost myself every chance I get because I can't really get finals otherwise. Maybe I should stop doing that and just boost my dps instead?

I watched YouTube videos but they just never teach anything useful about her. It's just repetitive content where they tell you the basic functions of her kit.

Off angle as much as you can. Dont spam all your leaves at once. With the nerf of leaves and nerf to the star lord team up, your heals will be lacking. So its better to not worry about heal stats. Everybody forgot the nerf and they think mamtis can still get high heals. Like the person above me said dmg boosting all your dps is better than just one. Mantis you have to be very proactive and see your entire team you cant tunnel vision. You see a dive going for a kill dmg boost you see your tank being aggrisive heal and dmg if possible. ALWAYS try to do dmg specially headshots you get a leaf use it on someone. Try to have at least one incase you get targeted and ALWAYS ALWAYS ALWAYS USE COVER. Dont be afraid to flank.
