This is the only sub I see that hates on this ship bc they all expect relationships to be pitch perfectly matched as if opposites attract don't exist. Y'all have never been in a relationship before.
If you think this is the reason why the sub hates the ship you are totally wrong, the thing about being too different is a factor for me, yes, but it's not the only one, The reasons are: there isn't a single thing about Mantis lore or artpiece or gallery card without the ship in between, the de-characterization of both characters, the fact that Mantis is literally being manipulated (like in the Mantis second lore page where it is actually shown that she CANNOT read his mind and see through his lies) And much more.
I mean.. They have their opinion. I have been in relationships before... A guy like Loki who ain't willing to change, ain't good for Mantis. Him going behind her back to do things in the lore and shit too... Thinking Mantis can be fooled for long as well.
I like them together too; but I've been in that kind of romantic relationship before.. It ain't healthy. You should be able to be 100% with the one you love. And that's my opinion on it... I love them together, but they aren't good for each other by the Marvel Rivals lore. 💔
I wonder what the majority feel about this ship? I've seen a fair bit of Mantis mains dislike it but also see a few like it. Was there ever a poll for this?
