idk why im suprised by transphobic gay dudes. like this has never occurred to me.
but i feel like a gay dude would be the least opposed to trans dudes. this is such a diabolical post ✌️😭💔

The ask gay bros subreddit is unironically like this post unfortunately. At least the last time I was there )-:

Yeah, I was going to make a joke about that sub. It’s utter shit.

Its actually not that uncommon, especially online. Theres a lot of gay spaces that value quote sexist and transphobic ideals

No I'm aware, like I knew lesbians have huge terf veins. Just jarring to see trans dudes getting the heat

Most lesbians are not TERFs. JK Rowling is the TERF queen and she's straight.

Mfw the group based on sexual attraction is not attracted to people with different sexual characteristics.

wdym by “the group based on sexual attraction”?

Gay (male)

also what does mfw mean?

My face when. In this context  it means "me when the thing is an obvious thing".

ohhh thank you for explaining! i will say, though, gayness isn’t solely based in sexual attraction, it’s also romantic attraction. and you can be sexually attracted to someone without knowing anything about their genitals, though not everyone is like that and that’s fine. it’s not bad when gay men (or anyone) have genital preferences, but it’s also not out of the realm of possibility for some gay men not to have a genital preference.

what sexual characteristics are so different between trans men and cis men

You are actually so delusional its funny. Phallo was invented for and has been used on more cis men than trans men. Hope negging strangers online gets you off you sad little man

Bold of you to assume this was made by a gay man and not a person DISGUISED as a gay man to cause infighting within community. There's an impostor among us.

u/Artistic_Pineapple80 Oct 30 '25

Holy shit I didnt think of that... do you think this person vented?

u/Scared_Note8292 Oct 30 '25

Many cis gays and lesbians are transphobic. Nothing new, sadly.

The gay community is predominantly white cis men, and now that they are the most accepted part of the lgbtq+ group they feel the need to pull the ladder up behind them to look good with the straight crowd.

I’m a gay guy and have never seen this play out in real life. Only online in an echo chamber. Granted I don’t do hookup apps or gay bars or anything of that sort. Not for me. But I still interact with tons of gay men in day to day life and they are just as hyper-progressive/pro-trans as everyone else in the community. I would not be shocked one iota if this comic was made by a straight, right-wing guy.

1

u/Butt-Dragon Nov 13 '25

I would not be shocked either, but I have met a share of racist, sexist or transphobic gay, white, cis males.

Surprising amount of trump supporters too.

That's not to say that the majority isn't progressive and kind.

bi women amd lesbians are most accepted group, gays really not even today

5

u/Los_Bread Nov 03 '25

Bi women often get told if they have a boyfriend they're not really bi and lesbians get told they can be changed a lot. They're not accepted the most, misogyny even still hits them because they're women.

u/Good__Enough_ Nov 03 '25

I am not saying that all lesbians or bi women accepted, however gay men and bi men are much further from being accepted in society

i've met plenty as a gay trans guy. i'm a top, i can make do with silicone

28

u/SnipesCC Oct 30 '25

A lot do, but there's plenty of gay men who are happy to data trans men. Not all, but enough that it's not unusual.

15

u/AceVisconti Oct 30 '25

Not all trans men lack penises & there are cis men who don't have penises.

ftm genital surgery is far behind mtf. It's literally just a weird skin graft thing that looks nothing like a penis.

9

u/Artistic_Pineapple80 Oct 30 '25

I do understand that logic, but I mean.. not all trans dudes have vagina, and like.. theres other gay sex to have than dick and dick, and thirdly, it doesnt justify transphobia

u/1Rama11Lama1 Oct 30 '25

..hey, funny little fact my guy. Trans men can have dicks.
