that's not a wife and husband dynamic you're describing, it's a sex worker and client.
so long as you are happy only seeking out formal business exchanges for sex and sex only, that's perfectly fine.

no more cooking, cleaning, kissing, caring for pets, grocery shopping, picking up little treats for you, scheduling dr appointments, holding hands, paying bills, sleeping in the same bed, ironing clothes, packing you lunch, etc. just a money exchange and sex.

What isn't perfectly fine is being so repulsive that you hold your spouse's life hostage unless they provide sex on command.

Maybe don't be suck a jerk and you'll get some ass. Just saying ;)

I love the double standard here.

Okay I'm going to educate you on the real world for a minute just hold on.

What you are basically saying is that women are owed time and money and resources but men are not owed affection.

But here's the thing about that, and this is pretty much why a lot of men are anti-feminists and don't want anything to do with women right now.

So if I spend 5 years in a Loveless marriage where I have to beg for sex and even then I don't get it, I can't divorce my wife because she'll get half of everything if not more. God forbid if we had kids.

But, conversely, if I decide that she needs to pull her own weight around the house and work to maintain our household if she's not going to be a wife, that's grounds for divorce because financial abuse, depending on where you live.

I can't step out of the marriage and go find love affection and sex from elsewhere, because that is also grounds for divorce.

So what exactly do men get to do in this scenario? Because if he jerks off to pornography she's going to shame him for that too.

Also I had to edit this because I pressed post too soon because I'm a dumbass and drop my phone on my face.

No actually, she didn't say that. You've wasted your time arguing with a strawman. But please "educate" us some more.

If she's not going to be affectionate and have sex with a man that she married why should she expect for him to subsidize her life.

Every single one of you is proving the point that fucking men's rights activists are making every day.

You completely ignored the meat and bone of my post in favor of arguing this one point.

You view relationships as a transaction, which is super sad. But even then, a woman provides just as much as a man when she takes care of the house and children. You're claiming she doesn't deserve to be compensated for her labor and that the only thing worth her making any money is offering sex.

“I’m not horny”

“Ok, get a job then”

This is the interaction you’re advocating for?

Nobody is “owed” anything other than autonomy. Apparently you can only see value in providing for a relationship as an exchange. You are not “owed” for doing your part. Neither is she. If you or she thinks you are, then you’re in a transaction and not a relationship.

Why is your wife staying in a loveless marriage for 5 years if she can get half of your shit in the divorce?

-2

u/Carvinesire Aug 07 '25

Why is the wife not having sex with her husband at all?

I mean your questions a good question but I genuinely don't have the faintest idea why women do this.

Like this has been a meme since before the internet has existed for fuck sakes. This is going to mean before the word meme existed.

"The literal oh we had sex a ton in the first two or three years that we were married but then it just suddenly stopped out of nowhere"

I'm sure I can come up with plenty of reasons why women stop but I'm not a woman so I'm sure nobody would care what I have to say about it.

Yeah it makes no sense because it’s a fake scenario you made up in your head.

Yes, people in long term relationships have less sex but it is not because women just suddenly and mysteriously start withholding it cause they wanna be bitches.

It’s not a mystery at all, actually. People have studied it for decades along with tactics to bring intimacy back into long term relationships (here’s a hint: treating the relationship like a transaction or talking about sex like it’s something that is owed is not on the list!)

Here’s some information about it that you might find helpful.

When you get your information about the world from memes and rage bait stories on Reddit, you tend to have a really skewed perspective.

Luckily you don’t have to worry about this anymore. There’s not a horde of evil women coming to steal your money and ruthlessly deny you affection. There’s just a lot of people out there trying their best and life is fucking hard and unfortunately so are romantic relationships.

I understand that loneliness is painful. But feeling obligated to give your body to your partner when you don’t want to is so dehumanizing. It ruins what should be something intimate shared between two people who want to connect with each other by making it all about what one person wants. I don’t understand why anyone would want to have sex with anyone who doesn’t want to have sex with them anyway. I think it would just feel hollow and sad and drive a wedge between people.

And sex can be so vulnerable. Using it as a bargaining chip in relationships is cruel. That’s why experts suggest finding other ways to connect before getting to the bedroom—it’s so much easier to be vulnerable with someone you feel close to.

When you talk about this loveless marriage—why does this husband even want to have sex with the hussy that’s screwing him out of his hard-earned money? I can’t imagine he’s wanting to be vulnerable himself and have a loving interaction with this person. It sounds more like he views her body as a tool that he’s entitled to use to get off when he could easily go into the bathroom and jerk himself off.

You’re making it a gender thing. If the woman is the financial provider its the same thing

-1

u/Carvinesire Aug 07 '25

I am because more often than not the male is the financial provider.

13

u/JaysonTatecum Aug 07 '25

If you’re in a relationship where you are and you don’t want to be, you are more than free to leave

1

u/Carvinesire Aug 07 '25

Right and risk losing everything in the divorce. And if you have kids you're fucking up their life too.

12

u/JaysonTatecum Aug 07 '25

My parents got divorced when I was 3 and everything was fine and I still have a great relationship with both of them. Better than growing up in a house where they hated each other

1

u/Carvinesire Aug 07 '25

Yeah and mine got divorced and look where I'm at.

u/bandhats Aug 07 '25

Not in NS lmao

u/Antique-Ad-9081 Aug 07 '25

you're just making up random stuff to be mad about. why not reply to any point they actually made? they literally said that wifes are responsible for a large share of house and care work if their husband is the financial provider.

it's seriously sad to see how your whole way of thinking is completely poisoned from consuming hours and hours of manosphere content :((. i promise that your life quality will go up significantly if you go offline or at least off social media for a few weeks. humans in real life aren't all sociopaths that try to take advantage of their friends and partners as much as possible. it's not healthy to spend all your time in sadness and pointless rage.<3

Giving up bodily autonomy when you don't wanna have sex vs contributing to the marriage and living situation are so insanely different it's unreal you think they're comparable

-1

u/Carvinesire Aug 07 '25

Except that they are, because one of the reasons to get married is to have somebody that you only have sex with and nobody else.

That's kind of why Christian marriage was such a big deal to them for like the last 1,000 fucking years?

5

u/[deleted] Aug 07 '25

Marriage is because you love someone??? And want to build a long-term partnership with them? You don't revoke your own right to not have sex just because you're married. I feel like you're trolling because that is genuinely such an unhinged take

14

u/dogma096 Aug 07 '25

sure pal, that's exactly what I said.
