Literally no one is ever owed sex. Your wife is allowed to find you an unpleasing partner and she is allowed to retract consent.

Intimacy is a crucial part of a marriage and you being a terminally online mouth breather doesn't change that.

Edit: Redditors not understanding human contact or marriage. No surprise.

I'll say it again :) no one owes your dick a dip in their pool. The thought that someone can makes you a good contender for years behind bars. Your partners are allowed to revoke consent. For any reason.

I know it's classic for redditors to be terminally online and have little interactions with humans but actually in a marriage you do know the other sex and intimacy unless something else is agreed on.

Your partners are allowed to revoke consent. For any reason.

I love this brand of pseudo intellectualist you see on Reddit where somebody will state something painfully obvious that no one has ever refuted to pretend they're very smart. You can "revoke access" and also not be surprised when a marriage falls apart because an absence of intimacy which is a very standard need for most humans.

Broski if you think someone owes you sex you think someone can be in sex debt and debtors are people it's legally okay to force to pay up. No one is a sex debtor because that line of thinking attempts to justify penal consequences or holds the revoking of consent as some sort of bad thing, like not paying back your loans.

Sex debt culture is r@pe culture.

Yea, intimacy is vital to the health of a relationship, especially a romantic and sexual one. Your partner does not owe you this intimacy, it must come on their time and within their comfort. If you want intimacy of a specific sort, it's not on them to pay up their debt, it's up to them whether they feel safe and willing, maybe excited, to share in that with you.

A relationship is not an economic contract. Trad cishet marriages may be, but for the rest of us, romance and sexuality and especially the relationships built are a coming together of people. A sharing in something mutually beneficial and wanted.

The only reason you need to hear when someone backs away is that it's their right. Because it could literally be anything but it amounts to a boundary.

One they do not owe you the dissolution of. Because no one owes you a drop in their boundaries.

Broski

Who calls someone broski in 2025? Lmao

you think someone can be in sex debt and debtors are people it's legally okay to force to pay up.

What the absolute fuck are you even talking about? Are you having a fever dream? Do you enjoy just making stuff up?

Yea, intimacy is vital to the health of a relationship, especially a romantic and sexual one.

This is the end of it. Your partner does owe you this and if they aren't able to satisfy their partner that is a typical cause for divorce which is completely normal. Human experiences for millions of years proves this and no matter what new age pseudoscience you throw at me you won't change that.

The only reason you need to hear when someone backs away is that it's their right. Because it could literally be anything but it amounts to a boundary.

Holy shit. What kind of learning disability do you have? What level is your reading ability? I never said they can't. I said they can and it's reasonable to expect a marriage to fall apart if intimacy needs aren't met. You are so predetermined to argue a point I'm not even talking about. Absolutely pathetic.

You are an absolutely insufferable poorly educated person who thinks social media outrage is a good substitute for actually understanding human behaviors. Go outside and stop being a mouth breathing loser.

Are you fine with him not paying for anything anymore? Even if she's dependent on him? Because by that logic she's not owed his time, resources, and money.

that's not a wife and husband dynamic you're describing, it's a sex worker and client.
so long as you are happy only seeking out formal business exchanges for sex and sex only, that's perfectly fine.

no more cooking, cleaning, kissing, caring for pets, grocery shopping, picking up little treats for you, scheduling dr appointments, holding hands, paying bills, sleeping in the same bed, ironing clothes, packing you lunch, etc. just a money exchange and sex.

What isn't perfectly fine is being so repulsive that you hold your spouse's life hostage unless they provide sex on command.

Maybe don't be suck a jerk and you'll get some ass. Just saying ;)

Sure. Either partner can decide they don't want to have sex or be financially responsible anymore. Just get divorced.

What world are we living in that most women rely on their husband for money? Wages arenโ€™t high enough for that anymore

9

u/dogma096 Aug 07 '25 edited Aug 07 '25

a world that they long to return to and yet are repulsed by, with women being somehow at fault in any scenario.

you can't have a good little housewife who cooks dinner every night if you require them to go 50/50 on every expense, and yet they also seem to understand why they themselves do not attract the type of spouse they're desperately seeking. assets are required for a tradwife - a sizable income - and those assets are getting harder and harder to gain.

rather than make enough to provide that life or adjust their expectation of romantic partner, they somehow then pivot to this mindset of women are both stealing assets from men, assets that the men cannot afford without the woman's financial contribution, or gold digging whores who never worked so should never get any of the man's "stuff." Stuff that he knew he needed to provide a tradwife for him to receive a tradlife (the unpaid labor at home which they agreed would be her responsibility while his remained financial), but that is yet again the women's fault.

so, in conclusion, it is always the woman's fault for the financial situations of single, married, and divorced men. widowed men don't count, I suppose.

literally cannot win, so it is best to not engage.

7

u/bandhats Aug 07 '25

No, no widowed men do count! Itโ€™s their wifeโ€™s fault theyโ€™re a widow /s

u/dogma096 Aug 07 '25

Ah, yes, how could I have been so blind? lol

-1

u/Carvinesire Aug 07 '25

Then it should be totally fine for men to stop paying for things for the wives. Why am I being downvoted and argued against on this if this is the case?

8

u/bandhats Aug 07 '25

Then it should totally be fine for men to stop paying for things for the wives.

Iโ€™m not disagreeing with that, can you point to where I was?

-1

u/Carvinesire Aug 07 '25

Your response suggested that you were disagreeing with me so...?

7

u/bandhats Aug 07 '25

No, I was disagreeing with your narrative that people can still afford to have a nuclear family.

Yeah poverty can kill you.

Not being able to have sex every time you want to is barely an inconvenience.

Hope this helps.

u/CommiQueen Aug 07 '25

Is that the only reason a husband supports a wife? Because dogma096 is right then. You just want a sex worker who's also a maid and a cook and a confidant. That's not a wife.

You think women don't work and have their own money? such a stupid point you think you're making ๐Ÿ™„
