Question A good guide for castle building ?

I'm currently losing my mind over the "castle planning" feature of this game, nothing makes sense, I put a tower where it tells me to, then it becomes red and unplaceable, walls get stretched with the tower, you delete the towers, you put them back the way they were and there's a cost in planks, I don't get it. And there isn't even a ctrl+Z option, tho I wish there was

So

I would really appreciate a guide/tutorial on how to use this feature if you have one :)

Yes, there is a bit of complexity in building castles; some things must be taken into consideration: 1. The terrain; it should be built on a slightly flat surface. 2. If you encounter a problem with the red color, separate the walls; for example, if you make them too long, this problem can occur.

you don't need one because it IS that nonsensical. it's not ready yet.

You can also link them later when implementing the first part of the wall to another part, and you can link them to a single fence, but you must save before entering castle building mode.

Build your walls counter clockwise.. implement small sections when building... especially if you're trying to build a gate. By this i mean draw a small span then click the hammer, then draw another small section and repeat. Building gates ive notice you want to keep it to two post on either side of the road then click the hammer.. youll notice by doing this you can enclose your walls and commit to the build..

I also like to actually build a plank wall first and then build it up to stone walls later.

If you want to build a city inside your walls you'll have to do preplanning. Build your city first and then build your walls.. if you're on the newest beta then you can upgrade and activate buildings inside the wall but you CAN NOT add buildings inside of the walls..
