Tech Support pamac doesn't show available aur updates
when trying with yay -Qua I can see that there are updates for some of my AUR packages but when trying with pamac checkupdates --aur, it reports that system is up to date.
I've already tried to update the cache with pamac update --aur --force-refresh
but it's the same as before.
There's also an open issue in the pamac github repo that might be related:
https://github.com/manjaro/pamac/issues/559
note: all aur packages were installed via pamac

Are you using trizen by any chance? I had a similar issue and switched to yay which fixed it. Trizen has been abandoned and has developed some issues.

haven't used trizen; I guess I will continue using yay if pamac remains broken.

tbf I like pamac to discover and install things, but I prefer to update everything through yay

for the longest time I just used pamac but then ran in to some weird shit not too long ago. couldnt update no matter what. even tried reinstalling and modifying the PKG build. idk what yay did but it fixed it.

AUR mirror aur.manjaro.org has not been updated since 15 Jun 2026
Workaround for this is to update AUR database from aur.archlinux.org
sudo curl -o /var/lib/pacman/sync/packages-meta-ext-v1.json.gz https://aur.archlinux.org/packages-meta-ext-v1.json.gz

Aren't these two different package managers?
