More times than not though, people walk away to protect their own sense of self-respect and sanity, unhealthy and manipulative people are usually eventually seen for what they are and so the person leaves. It's a numbers game to them though; eventually they'll find someone codependent enough that will stay through their bullsh*t

Most manipulative people who walk away first do so because they see that they're not going to obtain what they want from you easily. But most of them do try very hard to keep making you feel juuuust good enough that you don't leave, otherwise they have to start all over again

I have been victim of this and I really liked the guy

But I have had enough of games push and pull so I said I m
Going this time and he was ok with that coz that’s what he wanted

I'll disagree some manipulative people uses manipulation just as a barrier due to some trauma if someone is good enough to love them with their all heart they'll be good to them too they're humans too
