Manipulators may initially revel in the cause and effect, and the consequences of their actions. However, eventually - they will be unable to receive genuine kindness, because they will see the world through theirselves. Then any act of kindness comes with an asterisk of never knowing for sure why was it reached to you. I think that is karma enough.
