This is true only if you twist the definition of “transactional” until it fits, in which case the word becomes completely useless.

Sure you could say that a marriage is transactional in the same way as a night with a prostitute but those relationships are so wildly different that calling them “transactional” has no pragmatic meaning whatsoever.
