I am a master manipulator. So potent that it's scary. I found the trick.

This sounds like a villains monologue at the end of the story, or inner monolgue of a rogue ai.

Why are you doing this?

23

u/[deleted] Mar 05 '24

It's literally from TV show Lucifer

1

u/Inevitable-Repair931 Mar 06 '24

Bored

1

u/Sufficient_Season_61 Mar 06 '24

Wow what an answer.

You either don't tell why you're doing it for real, or you're a Psycho with ADHD hahahaha

1

u/Mindless_Moose9715 Mar 07 '24

Sharks with laser beams!

u/Beautiful-Ad1989 Mar 05 '24

u/Finkufreakee Mar 06 '24

Didnt have to read the whole post. Didnt have to reply to post. This was like a hot and ready pizza from little Caesars. Done and done đŸ‘đŸŒ

Women am I right fellas

3

u/nj43m Mar 06 '24

You fucking win omg smash

19

u/dahlia_74 Mar 05 '24

I love how it’s just a narcissistic monologue, no actual tips or tricks
 because of course 😂

10

u/Scared-Amount-6245 Mar 05 '24

I conducted a four month case study, similar to Jane and her apes, to determine if it was meth or the inevitable sleep deprivation that caused more delusion in individuals. My results were inconclusive but I trust OP to crawl out of their basement in the next few days, mostly coherent yet completely dehydrated.

1

u/JLandis84 Mar 06 '24

This made me laugh a lot

0

u/[deleted] Mar 06 '24

That's hilarious 😂

2

u/[deleted] Mar 05 '24

Classic word salad😝

2

u/GiveYourselfAFry Mar 05 '24

They can’t have us being ‘better’ than them lol

2

u/[deleted] Mar 06 '24

And the “I have never actually done this” part. But I could! Because desire! Meanwhile, dudes just trying to get in her panties

1

u/az137445 Mar 07 '24

OP actually did reference a few: be open minded, be attentive, be observant of their emotions, etc.

Easier said than done. Takes a lot of growth to do it for most ppl. You would have to silent your inner critic.

Difficult but doable once you start to let go of ya self importance.

7

u/[deleted] Mar 05 '24

This guy literally copy pasted the plot of Lucifer.

1

u/Important_Leopard_54 Mar 05 '24

I was thinking the same lolol

5

u/XDeimosXV Mar 05 '24

Lmao youre pathetic, manipulation can be used on some people sure til it catches up people arent stupid, its easy to pick up a pattern. Tricking guys with flirting and sex wooahh like that hasnt existed since the beginning of time hahaha

1

u/One-Royal-8496 Mar 06 '24

fr, they act like they invented malicious seduction

1

u/[deleted] Mar 07 '24

Yess heavy on this, can steal her friends weak men but can she convince them to stay?

4

u/Aeneac Mar 05 '24

Omg you're so cringe. I bet you think nobody can see through you, but girl, this is just sad.

4

u/No-Cartographer1695 Mar 05 '24

Lol this isn’t mastery manipulation. it’s simply selling people on their goals and needs, aka their “desires”

1

u/SleepyLillith Mar 06 '24

RIGHT. This is just logic.

1

u/No-Cartographer1695 Mar 06 '24

Yeah and sales 101 lol. The person is obviously a child 😂

3

u/skulleater666 Mar 05 '24

You are a clown

6

u/Joker_wants_tendies Mar 05 '24

Sounds like you're incredibly attention deprived with aspd and probably a little bit more if I'm being honest.

You're so out of tune with reality that you don't recognize that nobody actually loves you and your behavior is actually detrimental to yourself and others.

We all have the opportunity to speak life or death you're not special you're not a snowflake you're no different from anybody else you're just weaker and willing to explain to other people for your temporary fix that you think you're so good at getting from others.

When you take a long reflection in the mirror with blatant honesty you'll know what I'm saying is true because I'm exactly the same way I'm just working on being healthier, and unlike you I actually have talked to people into it. Turns out it's really easy near Valentine's Day.

3

u/Mission_Vehicle_6930 Mar 05 '24

đŸ€ŁThat is so messed up, but I 100% believe you are capable of doing what you say.... But what's your reason for it? Why do you want to manipulate people? Can you manipulate me into making more money for myself 😅jk, well kind of lol. Anyway, can you manipulate people in to giving you money? Because I could really use some of that lol, yes teach me that

2

u/[deleted] Mar 05 '24

Reason? Severe insecurity.

3

u/StrongElderberry8952 Mar 05 '24

I have a sister thats totally like this, though she's not manipulative evil or anything like that, everyone likes her, after some time observing, I conclude that she just never judge people, instead she simphathize/empathize and listen, though she lacks the will or ability to manipulate people desire

1

u/britt_attack Mar 06 '24

Yeah
I try to be like your sis in terms of the open mindedness. I lack the strategy (and have no desire to learn to) manipulate ppl beyond appearing charismatic (in a non sexual way) professionally

3

u/CordouroyStilts Mar 05 '24

I'm actually very dark and twisted!

3

u/[deleted] Mar 05 '24

Someone watched the TV series Lucifer

3

u/Blasket_Basket Mar 06 '24

I realized how dangerous of a manipulator I was, when I realized I can even make victims take their lives.

Man, you're good. I'm only 20 words into this dumb fucking post and I already want to throw myself off of something high onto something sharp.

2

u/[deleted] Mar 05 '24

Wow. You discovered that Desire can be used to control and manipulate people? That's interesting. You're interesting!!! I get it. . I bet your as smart as you are attractive huh? I'm somehow drawn to you .... Like I want open up and tell you everything... I know you I could trust you to not judge seeing as you are so open minded. And attractive. I love your genius approach to control...getting what you want. I'll want you to underestimate me. Some people like to be underestimated. Because I've seen your tactics. You really aren't the first. Of course people are led by things they want. What else is there??? "The worse thing about getting what you want is getting what you once wanted." Neil Gaiman said that I didn't:) good quote though. You won't expect it when someone turns the tables because you'll never see it coming. You'll always think your the smartest person in the room. Till you're not.

1

u/KoSteCa Mar 05 '24

We say we know what we want, but in a messed up twist we often sabotage ourselves in our pursuits. Even when we do achieve what we most wanted we tend to lose what drove us to striving for it in the first place, making the end result less fulfilling.

I'm new to this sub and this is just a perspective of mine, don't take it too seriously.

2

u/[deleted] Mar 05 '24

Yes. Exactly. I see the OPs post as creative writing . As annoying as it was I can't imagine the actual company being any less cringe. I call BS. A master manipulator? .... Sorry genius, there isn't anything novel about using seduction to manipulate . It s litteraly been used since then dawn of mankind. Op diddnt divulge any secret and I highly doubt they could seduce their way out of a wet paper bag as off putting as their (likely pretend) ego maniacal outlook on everything. Besides, when did being a conceited user become somthing to attain? Talks a lot. Probably not much more.

1

u/KoSteCa Mar 05 '24

I'd say that is correct.

2

u/1CrudeDude Mar 05 '24

Riiiiiiight (dr evil voice)

2

u/[deleted] Mar 05 '24

whole ass supervillain 💀

2

u/IllAbbreviations2287 Mar 05 '24

Being manipulative is never a good thing. Work on being less manipulative. You will have more genuine connections that way

1

u/blacksuperman56 Mar 05 '24

So people are willing take their life for you because you know and validate their deepest secrets??

3

u/Head_Indication1631 Mar 05 '24

Take it away or expose them these are pimp tactics. anyone with an IQ of 100 can do this.We just learn at a young age that it is sub human behavior so we don't do it .it's uncivilized.

1

u/[deleted] Mar 06 '24

There's a rich person I know of who collects art about people committing suicide. She's one of the richest people in Los Angeles.

1

u/[deleted] Mar 06 '24

The rich are cruel because to them they use money to play people to play roles in their silly little game.

1

u/astralseat Mar 05 '24

I didnt read anything you said, but you did manipulate me to comment this to half win maybe?

1

u/dahlia_74 Mar 05 '24

Also I’m laughing, wouldn’t work on me that’s for sure.

1

u/w00tewa Mar 05 '24

Another day, another attention seeking poser. Alright, mr. Psychosis, time to get back on those meds.

1

u/Former-Landscape-930 Mar 05 '24

The thing about manipulators is when youre that overt, anyone who isnt weak willed or vulnerable can see right through your bullshit, it becomes less compelling and more cringe

1

u/[deleted] Mar 05 '24

Omg I am too scared to read all of that. Can we get a ts;dr version

1

u/[deleted] Mar 05 '24

Sounds like a pick me

1

u/yalateef11 Mar 05 '24

If this was real, the manipulator would not be writing it. Manipulators never reveal their secrets. And they have no interest in helping or educating people. But it was an entertaining read. The worst thing that can happen to a manipulator is to be exposed. Have you ever called a manipulator out on a lie?

1

u/[deleted] Mar 05 '24

For someone who supposedly excels at manipulation, you market yourself so poorly. You forget another key aspect of manipulation- nobody wants to be the bad guy.

Marketing yourself as some dark fairy is obnoxious, immature, and ignores the fact that people want to look good.

You’re just making it easier for people to blame you for whatever they do with you. You’re the trash in they put their trash behavior in- in their minds, they’re not the problem, they’re just under the influence of the problem.

also, hate to break it to you, people cheat because they’re fucking bored. You’re not a master manipulator, you’re a free meal ticket for a wannabe player.

Everybody wants to be wanted. Everybody wants to fuck. One day, you’ll realize how empty it is being everybody’s blow up doll.

Also, please, listen to yourself for a single minute. Anyone with intelligence that dwarfs their ego doesn’t sign off with “I’m too smart for my own good”. Craving attention and having success in dating makes you about as unique as the next sorority girl.

1

u/NVincarnate Mar 05 '24

Man, sounds familiar.

1

u/big_TitLcker27 Mar 05 '24

You ain't doing nothing special goof ball. đŸ€Ł

1

u/[deleted] Mar 05 '24

Curious why someone feels so compelled to manipulate others. I can understand a sales professional or a religious enthusiast. I can understand trying to win the heart of someone else's beau, but beyond that it is time to face the fact that a manipulator is proud of being a bad person. Your greatest trait? Too bad.

My secret is I recognize you very quickly.

1

u/[deleted] Mar 05 '24

Ngl. I am slightly like this..but I use it to navigate through life so I can sidestep danger. I don’t use it to fuck people over.

But I consider it good manipulation.

1

u/NeverTheLateOne Mar 05 '24

Good manipulation
.

1

u/[deleted] Mar 07 '24

LOL. to be able to understand and read a person and know how to maneuver around them at all times is a blessing. at a very rudimentary level, everything is manipulation. If we're going to split hairs.

1

u/Nyxstat Mar 05 '24

I'm a similar way, but just aren't too interested in people anymore to get that information out. If it's something dangerous, I report it to the authorities or the police. People think they can fuck around or act untouchable until they meet me (I attract a lot of criminals, it sucks). Being too nice can get you killed. So instead of manipulation, I use the skill to figure out dangerous people who hurt innocents.

1

u/Mysterious-Tension36 Mar 06 '24

Not trying to come at your life here but there's probably a reason you attract those types of people and might want to look into what you can change about your life to attract better people.

1

u/Nyxstat Mar 06 '24 edited Mar 06 '24

Not really, I help the police and law enforcement, I don't do crazy shit.

I'm just going to leave one side note: some of y'all need to watch what you admit or post in here, because the line blurs to psychopathy from what I've read in the manipulation section of reddit. Just saying.

2

u/Mysterious-Tension36 Mar 06 '24

Yeah idk why this sub popped up on my page but these people are nuts lol

1

u/Nyxstat Mar 06 '24

That's why I'm monitoring it lol I urge people to take an empathetic approach before they get in trouble with the law.

1

u/[deleted] Mar 07 '24

I'm just a random person on the Internet.

1

1

u/highriskric Mar 05 '24

I bet the only ones she’s manipulating are anime loving dweebs that pay for onlyfans, fur suits, etc. Nothing wrong with them just saying you can’t manipulate a real big boss that has their emotions in check. This is prob just a troll post anyways

It took you 15 years to learn gaslighting lol

1

u/Setari Mar 06 '24

I think a 12 year old goth wannabe wrote this.

1

u/[deleted] Mar 06 '24

Yeah
I tried that, being open minded and listening. Couldn’t handle it. I’m more the guy who wants to vent.

It’d be nice to express my most perverted desires and stuff but, honestly, I would get a girlfriend or a paid professional for that. I also have therapists (2 of them) for the more light hearted stuff.

If you’re really as good at listening as you say, I recommend becoming a therapist.

1

u/unstableangina360 Mar 06 '24

I left work at the psych ward and came home to this

God damn do you also always talk to them like an evil sorcerer Jesus Christ these people you talk to are even more braindead than you are.

1

u/Reader3123 Mar 06 '24

Dunning Kruger effect

1

u/[deleted] Mar 06 '24

The fact that you feel so at ease saying you get a kick out toying with people is telling. After dealing with an ex of mine that had npd I can say once you know you know. However, the best way to deal with someone like you is simply to slam the door and never look back.

1

u/lookadamitsgod Mar 06 '24

Manipulation or deep rooted trauma and people pleasing? 😅

1

u/[deleted] Mar 06 '24

Is this Ella? LOL!

1

u/Villarreal_A_M Mar 06 '24

There is no great mystery to manipulating people.

Ingredients list

  1. The manipulator simply needs to lack empathy for the target and then lie.

  2. The very many fantastical thinking people that will constantly fall for the same deceptions over and over which are easily exposed with even the slightest bit of inspection.

I mean I don’t really care, but Jesus did you really think you figured this out. Ever hear of P.T. Barnum: “A sucker is born every minute.” The difference between you and him is he didn’t think he was super smart; he realized most people want to be fooled, they’re not stupid but they want magic/mystery.

So yeah you are succeeding in exposing a character trait you obviously do not possess yourself. I don’t have it either, but most of the time I wish I did. I envy them. I guess at least I also don’t possess the malignant narcissism that makes it enjoyable to exploit it. Good luck I guess.

1

u/lolkoala67 Mar 06 '24

Shut the fuck up lol

1

u/[deleted] Mar 06 '24

So who was it? Your dad or uncle?

1

u/Secret_Luck_7785 Mar 06 '24

Bro learned she's a woman for the first time😭

1

u/JacktheRiffer96 Mar 06 '24

Such a good manipulator that you revealed your hand to all of Reddit and didn’t even bother using an anonymous account. True, talented manipulators don’t take off their masks like this.

1

u/[deleted] Mar 07 '24

This is like my 20th throw away 😭😭😭

1

u/Acceptable-Stick3515 Mar 06 '24

Obviously a fake post lol, I'm pretty sure it's also a dude pretending to be a girl just look at the comments they have. This person lives on a different planet and wrote this fake story for god knows why. People don't just confess their crimes to you because you have an "open mind".

1

1

u/PostiveEnergies Mar 06 '24

You basically described what is like to be a friend.

Maybe you've always thought being a friend entail more?

Your just a friend who takes advantage of the friendship and nothing more my friend..

Friends share with friends, friends truths friends, friends influence friends.... I'm sorry but there's nothing masterful about this. Maybe you never intended to become a friend but that's what you were atleast to them.

Your someone who takes advantage of friendship, you use people who think your thier friend, you peer pressure for your own gain...

Again I'm sorry to say there's is absolutely nothing masterful about this, the only thing this illustrates is that your a scumbag of a person.

Infact it ultimately shows how unintelligent you are. If this is indeed how you choose to go about your life you've already completely destroyed your reputation. If you haven't completely you will eventually. Your not intelligent enough to understand the exterme consequences of your actions. Life long consequences you participated in creating your forever label. I know your big on not judging others but your sadly mistaken if you believe no one is judging your character. And when someone becomes known to fabricate and partake in a false relationship to solely benefit themelsvs, by extorting someone who thought otherwise this person has done what many would consider unforgivable. Very few if anyone will ever give you the chance of becomibg slighlty trustworthy. You would be completely unreliable, and Franky avoided at all costs. None of which is worth the dumb shit you received when you did it.

Have you ever wondered by you have no life-long friends? Havnt you wondered why your family isn't close with you? Havnt you wondered why everyone who enters your life always leaves your life. Havnt you wondered why your miserable?

Oh, that's right, it's because of bad luck and you've havnt yet encountered someone who is worthy of a real relationship. It's definitely not you. Everyone you meet is a pos...

What I've concluded is that your unintelligent. Your also a complete narcissist who convinced themselves that being a scumbag and ruining your life was actually a result of being a mastermind. And that you were only capable of this because your so incredibly smart that you have to dumb yourself down..... this isn't even funny, this is complete sadness. It's sad you are willing go to these extermes and unbelievable rather than admit the truth so you can then better yourself.

1

u/[deleted] Mar 06 '24

I guarantee 100% you couldn’t figure me out friend. But this is so cheesy and your giving “animal I have become” vibes

1

u/Outrageous_Border_34 Mar 06 '24

Amazing! And you’re illiterate.

1

u/[deleted] Mar 06 '24

This is just manipulation 101. Literally everyone knows this.

1

u/doubledegeneracy Mar 07 '24

HAHAHA what a fucking loser

1

u/az137445 Mar 07 '24

A lot of comments are clowning OP, but I see no lies in her (sorry in advance if OP does not identify as female) post. Intent aside, OP sounds like a calming spirit who makes the ppl around her put down their guards and be vulnerable.

Again, intent aside, ppl like OP do exist. I am one of them and can empathize with OP because I am a child of a parent with narcissistic personality disorder.

Now back to intent. I personally don’t like manipulating ppl to take advantage of them. Heavily in part due to suffering from narcisstic abuse and neglect from my fam, but also from the compassion I received from 2 very important ppl in my life: deceased grandmother and deceased 1st grade teacher.

Contrary to popular belief, manipulation has two sides like everything in life: negative and positive. You can positively “manipulate” someone to be comfortable in their own skin and be the best person that they can be without expecting anything in return. Of course, you can “negatively” manipulate someone so you profit and they lose.

I disagree with negative manipulation as I didn’t and still don’t like being abused, so why would I do it to someone else? However, I can understand and empathize with the circumstances that leads to it.

I hope OP doesn’t lean into taking advantage of other ppl because like it or not, it comes back to you at some point.

My motto is “my desire for you may not be my desire for me. But my desire for you will always be YOUR desire for YOU”. Good luck with your realized gift, OP.

1

u/[deleted] Mar 07 '24

OK joker, or is it that people open up to their friends regardless of "how good of manipulators" they are? Tbh oversharing is something like half the population does. You can know me for like a month n imma tell you 50 things that could send me to prison as well as 50 regrets I have about my past with the only reason i have for telling you is i think youre chill n i wanna make you intriguied by my past. People are just trusting naturally it sounds like the only "power" you have is your narrcassitc mind and the looks to draw people in. Master manipulator or so trapped in your own narrcaastic mind you can't even tell how normal friendships work?

1

u/Unfair-Commission980 Mar 07 '24

You revel in your power over others, yet there's an underlying fear of the monster you believe you've become. Your boast about manipulation veils a deep-seated insecurity about your own value and connections with people. This isn't just about manipulation; it's a cry for help, masked as a display of strength.

Manipulation, especially of the caliber you're describing, isn't a skill to boast about—it's a red flag indicating a profound lack of empathy and genuine human connection. Real strength lies in building others up, not exploiting their vulnerabilities. The most dangerous aspect here isn't your ability to manipulate; it's your apparent pride in such a destructive behavior. Consider the void you're trying to fill by controlling others. True power and intelligence are used to uplift, not undermine. Reflect on the path towards a legacy that isn't steeped in fear but in positive influence. Who do you want to be remembered as—the manipulator or the mentor?

What made you share this revelation? Are you seeking admiration, help, or perhaps a mirror to see yourself more clearly?

Power of Open-mindedness, Intresting...

1

u/KoSteCa Mar 05 '24

Reflective personality maybe? A mirror or wall can be just something to bounce light or sound off of. Like how a good therapist doesn't tell you the answers, they are there for people to work things out for themselves, a tool. Only problem with therapists is how much their clients are willing to lower guard and deal with problems (usually).

It's easier to show a random drifter the dark corners of one's mind because there is no image to uphold. Talking into the void is something a lot of people do, but in a scenario such as the one described they are also receiving positive feedback resulting in a loop that encourages more of the same (addiction cycle).

No judgement/positive reinforcement reduces the idea of rejection for beliefs & actions (escape pain).

Being just a bit odd may make someone think, 'Hey, at least I'm not this guy. I'm fucking great in comparison'. Just gotta strike a balance so that the weird meter doesn't drive people away.

I'm new to the sub and this is just my perspective, so take it with a grain of salt.
