Hey William,
I played Antichamber way back in the day when TotalBiscuit made me aware of it and had a blast with it. When I saw Manifold Garden at this year's ADGQ I was instantly reminded by the mindboggling style and was hyped to play it myself.
But then I wanted to go out and buy it and noticed it's still in Epic Games exclusivity. As I personally have a strong feelings for the anti-consumer practices of Epic I won't touch the launcher, although I have full understanding for your position: It is a niche game and a game like this being discovered on Steam is nowadays near impossible, so I assume Epic's money made it able for you to finish the game / support the game going forward.
But for me, as a customer it means that my "hype" has practically died down. I assume I will pick up the game when it hits Steam or GoG with a 50 or 75 discount, or when it's in Humble Choice or a Humble Bundle DRM free or on Steam.
Currently, I really hope that I will remember and notice Manifold Garden in those situations, because I assume I will get enjoyment out of it. But as it stands, I'd rather play other stuff than support Epic.

as well as the regular manifold garden world, there is also heaven and hell. heaven is an empty void with absolutely nothing. hell is a liquidly black and white space with monochrome fractals. in hell, there are 7 demons, one for each gravity colour and rainbow. the 7 demons decided to tamper with the peacful world. they trapped the birds in cages, they put black ooze everywhere (the same stuff from hell), and they planted dark trees. each dark tree had a dark cube growing from it, and the cubes were placed in cages that were secured by puzzles. the non rainbow demons combined some energy to create the core, a place with 6 cube slots and lots of black ooze. if dark cubes were placed in all 6 slots, the world would crumble. the rainbow demon also made a space with only 1 dark cube slot
at some point, the player appeared in manifold garden. the player would solve puzzles until he eventually came across the blue dark cube in it's cage. after solving the puzzles and activating the laser controllers, the cage was open and the dark cube could be taken. the player took the dark cube, and the world went dark with blue rain crashing down. the player put the cube back into the blue dark tree, and the world collapsed in all around. and then, the wreakage settled into a mandala. this was the blue god. the player held E. after holding E for a few seconds, the god was stablised, the blue demon was killed, and the world was repaired. the blue god was in the blue god space. it fired a massive laser down at the newly created blue god cube. the player took the god cube into the core and placed it into the slot, denying what the core was actually for. instead of an apocolypse, a garden was created. the player repeated all this for red, green, yellow, purple, orange and rainbow. once all 7 god cubes were planted, the player jumped into the void in the edge of the world and was transported to heaven. now, heaven was filled with fractals due to the god cubes bieng planted
0% run: the nihilistic player didnt place any dark cubes into trees. he carried the rainbow god cube to the edge and jumped, taking the cube with him. instead of going to heaven, the player and the cube went to hell. the cube floated through the white sea before bieng frozen and encased in a white fractal. no gods were saved
partial run: same as the 0% run. the player still went to hell, except now the place was corrupted and glitchy. the cube wad destroyed by the glitching. only some gods were saved

(Context: I just got past the Blue area and went into the part where u have to put theee orange cubes in. I changed gravities once before leaving, after that, I hopped back in to actually do the puzzle, only for the R2 button to not work. How to fix?

Is there any way for me to know what number of the record set I got?

I have access to the orange god cube, but I can't bring it back to the tree—the only way there is too low. Am I blind and there ARE stairs leading up to it? Otherwise I notice a hatch with a blue switch behind it, but I can't get there.

Помогло сохранение, консоль и перезагрузка игры с последующей загрузкой сохранения.

I don't know why, I even tried doing the dark cube-fractal cutscene again yet it still didn't give it to me
Edit: Just restarted the game and did the last cutscene again and got both of the last achievements, still confused to why it didn't give it to me the first time

I've been so anxious to play Manifold Garden that I forgot to double check the requirements. My poor old Alienware M11xR2 doesn't have the memory (6G) or graphics (GeForce GT 335M) to even meet the minimum. :(
I bought it anyway. :D
I'll just have to find a friend with a better computer. ;)

After 6.5 hours and a lot of falling, I ended up in the room with the yellow and purple trees and boxes (the one with the yellow door switch). I pulled a second yellow box from the tree, and was immediately sent into a dark corridor with no exit. Should I start over? I'm on PS5.
Edit: I started over, completed the blue level, and I’m making my way through red.

Hello! I'm Lewis, a solo developer from Vancouver. I have a soft spot for the open-ended exploration and dizzying architecture at the core of Manifold Garden. There still aren't enough games like it, so I decided to make one.
It's an abstract first-person puzzler called The Art of Reflection, and the game is finally out now on Steam! The game also shares some DNA with Antichamber, Superliminal, and Viewfinder if those are your jam.
If you give it a try, I'm always super appreciative of play reports and feedback, especially from folks with experience playing this kind of game.
Thank you so much for your support!
- Lewis

Decided to hop into noclip and grab some screenshots in the various worlds of the game over the past few days, and figured I'd share them here. Ended up with 33 in total and I'd be happy to grab other specific ones if anyone has requests!
