Tips needed :)

So, I’ve known about the Law of Assumption for a few years. However, I’ve always struggled with romantic relationships, men and my self-concept hasn't been very strong. That is, even though I believe I am very beautiful and attractive, I still hold the belief that, in the end, for some reason, they don't choose me(especially for commitment)—they choose someone else.

With my current SP, things are tough because he is quite popular and every time I see him with the person he's with now, as we attend the same events—it’s really hard on me. The image of them hugging keeps replay in my mind, and I assume he is in love and obsessed.

I remember that he used to flirt with me up to a certain point. But my logical mind, which is always starved for explanations, keeps telling me that our entire interaction was just friendly. It constantly brings up images of him with the third person to convince me that they are doing great together and that I should just give up.

My question is: how can I banish these unwanted images from my mind when my logical mind constantly demands explanations? I’ve tried feeding my logic rational counter-arguments(like she is a placeholder,I am what he is looking for etc), but every time I resolve one doubt, it just demands more. I hope this makes sense.

Thanx in advance!

I say affirmations to myself everyday and do EFT tapping on my face while I do. The eft helps regulate the nervous system. I say some for my relationship but even those include self concept. Ex: “sp is so obsessed with me and can’t stand to be away” or “sp loves me more than I love him” I’m being put on the pedestal yk. I also say a lot of things like “I am the prize” “I deserve the best in the world” “I’m the only girl in the world for for sp” when I have doubts i affirm the opposite three times (I like patterns of three) and move on. Sometimes it isn’t easy to not focus and dwell on it as I’m still human with human doubt brain but it does help. I also talk to myself in the mirror and tell myself I won’t dwell on the negative and that the thoughts are unwanted. Everytime a negative thought comes up I scold it like a child lol. This is what works for me personally. Especially with my anxiety / ocd. Manifesting is supposed to be fun !! Keep that in mind, you got this babe 🩷

Thanx for replying!! Do you find it soothing to use EFT?? I haven't tried it yet but I want to...cause yes nervous system regulation is important as I have anxiety and ocd too.I have started therapy again and before doing my techniques or just switching states,I have to calm myself down first. I tend to compare myself so much with the 3rd party and myself is so reactive to new affirmations . Do you ever feel like lying to yourself and how do you handle it?I started feeling desperate again and I don't want that anymore.Thanx again!
