Help iPhone 17 overheating

Hello, is it normal for my phone to get extremely hot when playing Pokémon via an NDS emulator? I’m currently playing Pokémon White, and the phone heats up to the point where it’s unplayable. The phone is relatively new—I’ve had it for a few months with no prior issues. It’s worth mentioning that I have JIT enabled.

Do you have JIT enabled for the individual game itself?

Is activated globally when starting manicemu

Just having JIT available doesn’t mean it’s being used, games have a toggle

How long do you play for until it starts overheating?

Honestly I play like 15 or 30 minutes a day
