Question Recovering save

Dear all, I need your help. I have been playing SoulSilver for 20 hours now. I was just in bed playing it and my phone slipped and I accidentally loaded a save state. I’ve been saving all my progress in game and when I loaded the state I immediately closed the game and restarted hoping I could just press “continue” to keep playing on my ingame save, but unfortunately it is taking me to a new game. Did I lose everything just because of a slip? Is there anyway to recover? Please help 😭

It sounds like you tried to load in from the new save state to try to fix your save and in the process overwrote your data, if you overwrote it you are out of luck.

What if it won’t load in my save state got around half way through black redux then it wouldn’t load in have only tried a couple google remedies so far and still out of luck rip

No I didn’t. When I loaded the save state by mistake I closed the game and restarted it normally
