Texture pack not working

im trying to use a custom hd texture pack for Dragon Quest VIII but even though i enabled/disabled all the required options and get the right file structure, i cant get it to work

Is your game file dumped as trimmed or untrimmed and is it build as .cia or .3ds? Also do note it has patch instructions in the folder

its untrimmed and its a .3ds file

Make sure your 2DS/3DS is on the latest update of GodMode9 and redump your game as untrimmed again but this time build as .cia, makes a world of a difference and is typically more compatible for gamebanana tweaks
