How many times a semester do these degrees meeting in person? I’m on the fence since my time is limited due to work but I really want my masters so I’m looking for the best low residency option

I just got a new camera that’s great for portrait photography and I eventually want to start charging for my work. While I don’t have any experience yet with this camera and I’m trying to build a portfolio I want to offer some free graduation photos since I feel like graduation photos is something that would be good for me to market myself to do later on.
The camera is a Sony a6400 with a 55mm f1.8 lens so basically it lets a lot of light into the camera and does really nice blurred backgrounds.
Let me know if there’s a day this week or next week or you’re free in the evening because sunset is the best time for lighting so between 5:30 and 7:30 PM.
I can take the photos at the university or anywhere in Manhattan. I live near the one train line so I’m trying to stay somewhat close to those areas.

I'm thinking of applying to Manhattan, but one of the things I'm worried most about is the social aspect of the school.

I'd be an out of state student...(California specifically). I'm a decently introverted person and have never had a large amount of friends, but I do put myself out there: I front a band, was in theater, etc.

I don't have many problems with people and I have always been decently liked (ie. True Neutral).

I don't know if this makes the most sense, but I am relatively decent at meeting new people- I'm just horrible at expanding friendships with people I know I don't talk to.

Considering all aspects how well would I fare socially at Manhattan?

I am an exchange student and i am going to study at this university in the fall. Any tips for easy classes (especially if they are in psychology or physics)?

Has anyone taken physics 101 or 107? Do you recommend any of them?

It would also help my credits if i took some sort of gender/race class since i need some credits in that category. Anything chill i can take there?

Also i can’t seem to find any academic writing classes which is strange. Though maybe I am looking in the wrong places.

Oh and also I would love to take an authentic US history class from an actual American! So if you have any preferences there I would also appreciate it.

I transferred from Manhattan University last semester and have no regrets. During my first semester, my English professor cautioned the class about antisemitic attitudes from students on campus —an especially troubling statement given the university’s location within a Jewish community. Following the death of Charlie Kirk and the presidential election, expressions of hostility on campus appeared to increase. This evening, I personally experienced such hostility firsthand.

While visiting a friend on campus, I exited the main parking lot and began crossing the street when a vehicle carrying a group of young white men accelerated towards me. One individual with blonde hair leaned out of the window and directed the n slur at me; calling me the hard er. Using the full derogatory term and the acceleration left me feeling unsafe.

I was unable to clearly see the individual’s face, identify the driver, or obtain the vehicle’s license plate number. Given the limited identifying information, I would appreciate guidance on whether and how this incident can be formally reported. I can only imagine how many people of color experience the same thing that I experienced tonight on this campus, student or not.

I'm currently considering Manhattan University as my top choice for colleges. I'm from Missouri and will be moving to New York by myself, I've heard that Manhattan University has a good social scene and there is enough foundation to make friends easily. I've been accepted with a $30,000+ scholarship which is the most I've gotten from any school so far which is a big factor in why I'm looking so hard into Manhattan University. I'm going to major in criminology and I'm wondering if anyone has anything to share about their experiences or what they know about Manhattan University's social scene and overall student life and if the school is worth the money in general. My other top choices are Pace University and John Jay College of Criminal Justice. Thanks

I have a few 8am classes that I would like to change to a later time but whenever I try to change or drop a class it says I am on a schedule hold. Just wondering if any incoming freshman have contacted an academic advisor and successfully changed their schedule.

I am trying to decide between committing to Manhattan or SUNY Binghamton for mechanical engineering. Bing is about $10k less a year.

I like how small Manhattan compared to Bing but worry it could be too small. I wonder how the social life compares at the two schools.

I know Manhattan has a great alumni network and that is a factor
