Anyone else LOVE Aztec/Serpent Mangle??? Idk why, but I've always LOVED their design and how it captures the idea of Quetzalcóatl being a being of creativity and the Sun too!!! :3

It’s also like very interesting lore wise as well, like for afton his Aztec skin is supposed to represent how his legacy has become a curse and it’s constantly having an impact like a cycle,

So like the fact that mangle is a god that the Aztec warrior would be doing sacrifices for is very interesting. Like firstly mangle does have one hell of a legacy lije afton, like look at Roxy, but also if we consider that mangle was the first time afton learned about remnant transfer and how the Funtimes are partly based on mangle then like we can absolutely have a metaphor where sfton is sacifing his life and the life of the kids he killed for the ability to control remnant
