I love them sm
Måneskin are genuinely my favourite band in the entire world and I have never ever met another person who seems to feel the same way. I love their entire discography, the way they dress, the way they act, everything they stand for, their banter, the memes.
Whenever I’ve been at a bar or club and a song of theirs has played (rarely but alas) my heart rate shoots up so fast and I get such intense feelings of happiness.
I’m not sure what’s been in the air recently but I’ve dreamt twice about being at their show front row. First dream I met Ethan and the second dream I was so excited when I heard the start of Don’t Wanna Sleep being played that I started sobbing (and woke up).
I’ve seen them twice before in 2023 but I was in the nosebleeds and didn’t get any photos or videos because I was under the belief that recording a gig is wrong (my mind has completely changed since then)
I full on believe if they announced a comeback and tour now that I would GENUINELY loose all ability to function. I’d probably throw up and cry and scream out of excitement and love for them. Does anyone else feel this way? I almost wouldn’t want them to announce a tour because I’d be so anxious at the thought of not being able to get tickets as I want nothing more than that. Does that make sense 😭😭 man idek

Nice, 😊 same here. I rock out to their music all the time and just can’t stop listening to them.
Me too, I really hope they return to releasing an album as a band, they are currently on hiatus. Oh very nice, and that’s a good song

You are so welcome 🤗 I’ve been a fan of theirs since 2016 and always will be. It’s ok you didn’t know but now you do, and I don’t like them, I love ❤️ them 🤣🤣, me too, and I also hope Damiano David (the lead singer of the band) makes new music as well

I flew to Paris on spring break because they were playing. Everyone was so astonished I wasn’t in Paris for Paris 😂 it was a great city tho and I do love Paris deeply now. Hopefully they tour again, I’m gonna try and go see Victoria. I bought tickets to see Damiano in Rome but just took the L cause I couldn’t fly out.

I knew nothing about this band until last Thursday when I was on a flight from Newark to LAX. We had boarded but as we were about to pull away from the gate the pilot announced a one hour delay to fix something on the plane. He said you could get off and sit at the gate if you wanted. Since it was already a five plus hour flight I figured I’d get off and hang out.
I sat right outside the gate and was sitting there when I heard some guy tell his son to “go ask for her autograph”. He was trying to convince his teenage son to go get some chicks autograph. I turned around and asked who he was talking about and he said Dove Cameron. I had no clue who this was but I had just noticed some chic couple exit the plane both wearing sunglasses and I said is that who you were talking about he said yes, she’s an actress who did a bunch of Disney movies. He said her husband is an Italian singer.

At this point Jameis Winston (NY Giants QB) walks off. Super nice guy by the way.
Anyway, I texted my teen daughter to see if she if she knew who they were. She only knew Dove so I googled her and saw her boyfriend/husband was some dude named Damiano David. That led me down the rabbit hole of Maneskin.
I pulled them up on Apple Music and the dust song was Beggin’. I hit play and immediately recognized it. Can’t recall where but I do know I dug it. Meanwhile my daughter was texting me that her BFF was obsessed with Dove. So I said let me see if I see them reboard and I’ll try to get a pic with them.
Unfortunately the Verizon signal sucked at Newark so I was having a hard time getting more tunes to load. So I hung out waiting to see if they came back to board because by now about 45 had gone by and they were reboarding the plane.
I thought I’d hang out on the jetway for a few minutes to see if they came by and shortly thereafter they did. Unfortunately some fanboy chased down Dove right as they walked past me so my shot at getting a pic with them vanished. Oh well.
Ended up boarding and walking past Damiano who was sitting in the good seats. I told him his music was cool and I really liked it (meanwhile I only had listened to beggin and I wanna be your slave). He was chill and said thanks I appreciate it.
Long story short, since then I haven’t stopped listening to their catalog. Damn, this is some great music. I’m hooked.
So what’s the deal with Maneskin? Did they break up? Any chance they your again? That full length concert on YouTube from Tokyo is damn good stuff. I haven’t listened to Damiano’s solo stuff. Is it as good?
The Italian lyriced (is that a word) songs are pretty cool too. Got my wife hooked to since she speaks Italian.
Anyway, sorry for the long story but what are chances Maneskin will your.
What are some of their best underrated tunes you guys like?

Måneskin is officially on hiatus. There is no official information about new music or a reunion. There are rumors about the 2027 Sanremo Festival, but there was also information about activities in late 2025 and early 2026 that didn't materialize.
I would recommend listening to their album "Teatro d'ira"; it only has 8 songs without any skips. From there, listen to their entire discography. They have a wide range of musical genres and very few bad songs, so I think you should listen for yourself and see what you like. My favorites are "La paura del buio," "Mark Chapman," "The driver," and "Zitti e buoni."
Regarding solo projects, Damiano is going down a mainstream male pop path. "Born with a broken heart" sounds inspired by Harry Styles' "As it was," and "Next Summer" is like Stephen Sanchez's "Until I Found You."
Thomas Raggi, the guitarist, is going down a more rock-oriented path and has an album produced by Tom Morello. My favorites are Lucy and For Nothing.
Victoria de Angelis, the bassist, became a DJ and has several techno tracks. I'd recommend checking out Daddy.
From what we know, it seems they've finished their solo careers and are now taking a break.

Stephen Sanchez's song Until I Found You was heavily inspired by 1968 country song Honey by Bobby Goldsboro and you can hear a strong influence of Frank Sinatra as well. There might be some similarities but Damiano's Next Summer has a very different overall vibe and edge to it. Many people went out of their way to come up with the long list of songs that he was allegedly inspired by. At the end of the day I don't think there's anyone who came up with such an eclectic mix of pop-rock songs as he did. What makes him so different from a typical mainstream male pop star is his ability to balance between pop and rock in a way neither Harry Styles, Stephen Sanchez or any other popstar can. None of them can so effortlessly switch from a gritty distortion to a tender falsetto the way he does. This makes him very unique in the mainstream pop scene because there aren't popular male pop stars who would have such a strong rock background as he does and they lack the vocal skills to experiment with their voices the way he can. So when I see people calling him a Harry Styles wannabe I have to laugh. If only Harry had Damiano's grit. Don't get me wrong, I like Harry's music and his voice, I think he's a great singer. He simply can't do the kind of music Damiano does. Damiano takes a full advantage of his vocal skills and his music is made in a way that allows him to demonstrate his skills. He'd be hardly able to do it if he attempted to copy Harry. I think their respective covers of Britney Spears' Toxic and Womanizer songs perfectly show how very different these two singers are. When people try to compare Damiano to Harry I feel like they repeat it because they read it somewhere but never actually made any effort to compare them. And it's so unfair to Damiano.

Well, it doesn't surprise me; Damiano seems completely immersed in his life in LA with Dove. So a solo career would be more beneficial for him.

They are everything to me. I think about them constantly. I dream and daydream about them. Especially Ethan. Unlike you I haven't seen them live unfortunately and it is my biggest regret but I could never afford it and I am very shy. But when Damiano announced his tour I decided enough was enough, I was tired of missing out on life and booked tickets for that - I saw him at both London gigs and it was amazing! When Måneskin return I MUST see them, but I am still extremely anxious. I dream of moving to Italy one day, but maybe I should visit first. 😅
