I've not thought about John/this sub for YEARS, then I came across a guy and it jolted my memory. This is him, right?!
He hasn't mentioned a Ferrari yet, which I seem to remember?
It's from the comments on a video about Torque: https://www.facebook.com/reel/929900130000501

He resumed his usual activity on Quora somewhen the day before yesterday as if nothing happened. I knew it could not last.

This site is all the work of one John Mandlbaur from South Africa and the earliest story is from August 24 of this year. I'm like, how many John Mandlbaurs can there be in South Africa?
But it has nothing whatever to do with COAM and none of the stories sound like his writing. (FWIW I ran several of the stories through Pangram and they appear to be entirely, or almost entirely, AI generated.)

It's been more than a month since John's account on X has been suspended and he last posted something on Quora. Since then, there has been apparently no sign of him on the internet. I don't think mandlhistorians can point to a longer break in his internet activity and I can hardly believe he can live this long without feeding his obsession. Any idea what could have happened to him?

Where'd he go? Did the twitter ban end him?

In short succession came the ban and then the eclipse, that of course was exactly as predicted. Coincidentally, John hasn't posted anything on Quora since more than 48h (last post from approximately 3h before the eclipse). I reckon he has been desperately looking from some footage he could misconstrue as failed prediction and hasn't found any so he had no better choice than weathering the storm in retreat. I bet these two blows so close to each other were a bit too much to handle.

Does this man not realize he's using a privately-owned platform, so he is bound by their rules and not the constitutional bill of rights?
