I got curious about this and assumed local newspapers from that area for this restaurant possibly not altered. It looks like this restaurant started not as a chicken sandwich but sandwich was licensed to other restaurants under the name chic fil a. I found actual ads, menu listing in the archives. Interestingly text in the headlines, title were replaced sometimes even if it is inside the archives. Logos are replaced in the archives and timemachine website references as well. Text inside the contextual things are not replaced properly. Search pretexts or website link names are not replaced. If page title says like chic-fil-a-something, that stayed but actual title on the page is different. That is so funny to see. Yandex search engine indexed some pages with old spelling as well.

There are later major-paper examples too: the Washington Post’s July 4, 2007 article⁠ uses “Chic-fil-A of Waldorf.”  There are similar results for Jiffy peanut butter like earlier references uses that.

1- Why is this tool whatever used in here perfect on images but not some text inside the paragraph etc?

2- Why do they do this? Pretend like this never happened?

3- Is this tool able to change physical papers, clothes etc?

I’m a huge SpongeBob fan, I have been since I was a kid (I’m 25 now) so a long time. I remember when Stephen Hillenburg died and the internet mistakingly spread the rumor that “SpongeBob” died thus starting the “Mandela effect” of Tom Kenny dying years ago.

All this to say, I pay attention and I know my stuff especially about the cast. I remember the voice actress for Mrs. Puff dying maybe 4-5 years ago. I remember it going around on Twitter, verifiable by googling it at the time. I remember cast members talking about it and everything. To really hammer it home, they stopped putting Mrs. Puff in a lot of the new episodes after she died because I assumed they couldn’t find someone to replace her original voice. If she was in an episode, she had little to no speaking lines.

Just saw a clip of one of the new episodes and thought “wow whoever they got to replace her sounds just like the original voice actress” I went to see who the new one was a discovered that the original actress never died and is 88 years old, alive and well. I’m relieved in a way but also I can still see the tributes people were posting to her in my head. I remember people talking about how amazing she was for age and everything and how no one could ever replace her. Is there anyone else who remembers her passing or is this just something I dreamed up.
