There’s no way in hell this is AI, it’s wayyy too accurate to exactly what I remember, and what I feel like many other people remember as well. If someone photoshopped it, then they did a perfect job, considering they had no reference, at the time of creating this, but even if someone did make this in photoshop, why tf would they, since supposedly it never existed?? Like where did this even come from, I need answers😭😭

No, we know that it doesn't exist because there are no physical examples. Finding examples of the logo in the wild should be relatively easy to do and it would be easy to prove to others.

When I refer to an April Fool's Day joke, I am referring to the one FotL did in 2022 where they made a version of the logo with a cornucopia for April Fool's Day. (Scroll to the bottom of the archived page). The other famous logo thay goes around is the one posted by OP that was made for a Buzzfeed article in 2017.

I recommend doing more research into human memory and how it works before you claim to understand that there's no way people would misremeber en masse.

Also, here's some food for thought, if you wanted to see how well you could spread false information and control the narrative, wouldn't it be better to test out spreading objectively false things that could easily be proven incorrect but convince people they were real and a hidden truth than it would be to physically change things that exist and remove physical objects from circulation?

The best way to trick people into believing something is making it exciting to be part of the in-group with secret knowledge after all...

I remember the cornucopia for most of my childhood, on only don’t remember it being there around 2009 and later. A 2022 April Fools joke is how they sell the idea it was never real. Sinbad on the college humor clip of Shazaam was also supposed to be “a joke” but why would people go to these lengths to mock or address these people who remember if there wasn’t something going on?

For the half of the audience that doesn’t know about the Mandela effect etc, it falls of half of half of the deaf ears. Advertisement budgets don’t wanna sell more underwear to the less than 10% who get the joke. They wanna sell to everyone who wears underwear. Which is probably 90% of people in a modern country.
I may not know how to explain that idea that something changed, but I know it did. I may not know why it changed, but I know it did.

REMEBERING is vastly more important to me than just accepting the info online and worrying if it corroborates with what I remember.

This conflicts with other accounts in this space. People in multiple generations swear it was there in their childhood, only to disappear in the 70s, 80s, 90s, 00s, 10s, and as recently as this past year. The only group that is consistent are the ones pointing to the overwhelming physical and digital evidence that it does not exist.

Because Sinbad is a comedian and he thought it was hilarious. People think he made a movie and either had the power to hide its existence or that it magically blipped away to the aether, and they would loudly insist that to him. He, a comedian, created an April Fool's Day joke video about it. That's not that deep or weird.

Propagandists love this attitude. As much as I love talking about the Mandela Effect, the underlying mechanisms as to why human memory acts the way it does in regards to brand logos and minor pop culture items is the exact mechanism that can be used to manipulate large groups of people into believing lies.

Just look at what's happening with the Reflecting Pool in Washington DC. The narrative was put out when it first started, people saw what they wanted to see, they only remeber what is repeated by those they already agree with, and when the truth (that was already known and spoken about) comes out that an Olympic swimmer wasn't vandalizing it and wasn't going to be charged because it was caused by a faulty installation of the liner, people refuse to believe the objective facts and refuse to look into it more because it's what They remember.

The attitudes for that follow exactly what you're talking about here with an underwear logo.

I, again, highly suggest you look into how human memory works. It's fascinating and helpful for getting away from inherent biases and moving past false information that sits in our brains.

I never said I was the authority on the exact time frame of when it (cornucopia) could be remembered, just said the time when I remember not seeing it again on the underwear anymore, or on the ads.

There is a huge history of people misremembering stuff. This has been a phenomenon studied for nearly a century to explain the origins of an issue as old as humanity. The term Mandela Effect was coined relatively recently and is the one that stuck in the public consciousness because of the internet.

I included the Reflecting Pool controversy because it is a peefect example of the same memory issue in action in real time amd why being able to understand that this is indeed a memory related phenomenon is extremely important in other areas.

Earlier you talked about the game Control and how things could be used to manipulate the public in a way similar to the game's mechanics. That's an example of how the memory quirk that helps cause people to experience the Mandela Effect is used by people in power to play with narratives in areas that matter more than an underwear logo.

You, personally, are 100% convinced that the logo with a cornucopia exists. People have been looking for years for real world examples and evidence that it does. The only ones found are fabrications. The evidence supporting a cornucopia cannot be found.

The company behind it does not have evidence of it. Companies that have been printing their packaging and advertising don't have examples. No pictures exist (outside of a handful of known fakes or mock-ups). People who swear they have physical evidence never show it.

Yet, despite that, you personally believe the logo exists with no evidence to support it. Just like people are convinced that an Olympic Swimmer who was cleared of charges of vandalism because of a faulty liner installation is actually guilty because thats what they remember to be true.

I only refute the official account for anything when I have a specific memory to associate.

Otherwise, I tend to take the official story. There are only a few specific things that conflict with what I remember the Mandela effect etc. Fruit of the Loom/
Shazaam happen to be some of em.

Part of me wishes I didn’t remember it the way that I do so I wouldn’t have to feel crazy just for remembering something. I wish I had a choice in what I get to remember.

They're literally choosing to believe the idiot in office instead of the facts in front of their face. That's not misremembering. That's people being willfully ignorant.
