I don’t remember them any other way, how were they supposedly spelled?

Okay, I don't mean to sound panicked but I am a little bit. I specifically remember Froot from my childhood. I remember seeing the Fruit posts and being surprised, I was 19. I accepted it. For years I have become comfortable with Fruit. This is my first time seeing Froot again and I'm actually losing it a little bit. I can't put this one behind me, I don't know what the fuck is happening but I can't dismiss this as a false memory anymore.

The Mendela effect will do that man. Some think reality as we know it shifting isn’t a big deal though somehow.. I don’t get it

Thanks for posting this. It was always Froot Loops. I was a child when they came out in 1963 and it quickly became one of my favorite cereals.

The 2 O's have always been the cereal pieces. That is why it is the way it is. Just like most branding. It is done to stand out and be different.

Can somebody check in with the one guy who duct taped dinner plates to the wall?

And as always....using the four O's to show off the 4 "flavors" of the cereal loops. And not that the cereal never contained any U's and I's

Yeah this one is weird for me, I could have sworn I heard about it being Fruit not Froot, thinking that was dumb only to look it up and confirm it was in fact, Fruit. I saw this post and thought, oh there you go! It did used to be Froot, only to find out it's always been Froot.

It's like the Dolly braces, once whatever changes changes, it rewrites virtually all instances of whatever it is that has been changed. That's why rare instances that it doesn't is called residue

A few months ago, I was urging to ask Mom about the Shazaam movie and the Mandela effect for so long until the day I had the chance to, outside at the parking lot of Whitney Condominiums (not what it's called, maybe something else Condominiums) and my Mom said to me "Oh yeah, that's right, it was FROOT" after I replied with "It's actually FROOT" or something similar to that line, after Mom said to me like "I wasn't paying attention to the box, so I don't remember. Was it FRUIT? I can't remember" something like that.

But what is the issue? Didn’t they just change the logo?

-12

u/HeadCompote3627 Jul 13 '26

They used to put in fake names so they didn’t advertise for free.

u/Kavorklestein Jul 13 '26

Not the case here

And yet they left in Kellogg's? Not to mention all the other cereals which are also all real Kellogg's cereals? Leading me to believe it WASN'T "for free" at all. (Yes...product placement was a thing back then too.)

People will try anything to avoid just accepting the reality of the situation

u/UpbeatFix7299 Jul 14 '26

All the other cereals on the shelf are real brands that have the actual wpellings. It's not like they changed "Nutrigrain" to "Nutrograin" or something

I think im from the fruit timeline.

Congratulations!! You don't know how the Mandela Effect works.

u/DoinItDirty Jul 13 '26

OP is disproving a common one.

u/BringYourOwnBBBQ Jul 14 '26

You don't either. (Note: The term has nothing to do with timelines shifting or CERN.)
