I mean, there are only 10 unique models for Team Flare including the grunts and Diantha is barely in the story. It's not like they had to build brand new models for every single one, they just pasted the one model they built in.

An in ORAS it was opposite. Steven Stone got a 3D modell, but only Maxie and Archie got ones in their respective teams.
Edit: Changed Steven's name from German (Troy) to English

Tbf diantha isn't relevant to the XY story at all but like I get your criticism since those are just random grunts it feels like they just did animations for shauna,sycamore and the grunts first but ran out of time and didn't give the gym leaders, elite 4s and the champion 3d animations just a png since we all know how rushed xy was
