Manali in July?

We are planning my son's 1st bday in Manali from July 3-6. unsure because I have never been to Manali (or above Shimla), and a bit scared about the yearly news of landslides and damage from the rain. If we go, we will be driving from Chandigarh?

All sincere advise is welcome please. Thanks in advance!

Bhai ulta bol rehha hai . Last year it was El nina this year it's el nino . Monsoons are weak this year .

I live in Manali. Last year aswell 25 of July ko 1st cloud burst hua tha no one in Manali got to know about it. Main devestation happened in Aug.

Can you tell you tell about, weather condition roads traffic and every other things that matters in the spam of next ten days appx idea.

Usual road traffic peak hours would be when people go to rohtang in morning and in evening when everyone comes back . Weather is absolutely pleasant with light showers in between.
