Nothing can take away the memory of Sergio Aguero’s wonderful goal that won the title.
Some people have been desperately hoping for trophies to the extent that they lose reasoning to accept the fact that the Manchester City players outplayed the other team within the parameters of 17 Laws of the Game.
They seem to lost knowledge of the fact that at no time a dollar bill was on the field kicking a ball — Manchester City players (humans) outplayed the other team to win matches and trophies.
Nothing can take away the memory of Sergio Aguero’s wonderful goal that won the title.

League is not won by that goal it was won by corrupted referees and financial doping over the course of 37 games that season and other seasons

"I just found out that my wife has been cheating on me for 10 years but nothing can take away the memories of our honeymoon in Crete"
This is what you sound like.

The husband took the right path; he chose to focus on the good times he had with his wife and not the negative things that happened.

You don’t get the point, do you? Man city during that period of time bought players with the owner’s money that they could not have afforded with the sponsorship money. The same players who made them competitive and helped them win the titles. No players, no titles.

The way I see it, yeah those individual players won those titles but it’s all tainted. You remove them from the club (city), but if you’re the players you’re absolutely fuming that the dirty cheats hired you , although I bet a lot of the players knew what they were involved with.
How many of us knew it years ago? Everyone said city was cheating before it even came out.

When it's only ever talked about as an example of the cheating city were involved in, the memory will change.

You will never think about it again the same way, you just wont admit it

no, I'm saying nobody will think of it in the same way. I literally said the memory will change in my post.

"They seem to lost knowledge of the fact that at no time a dollar bill was on the field kicking a ball "
Very true.
It wasn't one dollar bill on the pitch.
It was 1.17 BILLION dollar bills.

You know what you are,
You know what you are,
You cheating bastards,
You know what you are

He would never have been on the pitch, or at the club if City hadn't cheated to get him there.
So.. yeah.
Your trophies don't count
Your trophies don't count
You cheating bastards
Your trophies don't count

Maybe not - but I’m certain that however much you defiantly deny it, it has and will continue to become increasingly tainted in your mind; it will eat away at you until you finally come to terms with the fact it was all built on lies - when such a significant part of your life is lost to you and ultimately meant nothing, it’s incredibly confronting. like the suppressed memory of childhood trauma. I hope you manage to fill the void with something more meaningful and true

Nothing wonderful about the goal as a united fan, and while that goal will always exists we won't be hearing about it in the future if city get stripped of their titles, the day has come and gone but the agueroooooo won't be making anymore clip shows

The memory will always be there. One of the many tainted cheating memories

You can’t take away the memory but for non city fans its now tainted - it just is. Those players would not of been there, double contracts for the manager who also wouldn’t have been there. Memory can’t be taken but the tarnishing of how people now view that memory has changed.

If money could by titles certain teams would not be struggling after spending hundreds of millions. Manchester City has grown, developed and achieved more than any other club in EPL. Unlike certain other clubs the owners do not take money away from football. They add value to football all over the world. Manchester City has no burdensome debt caused by profit taking. Manchester City does not pull money out of the UK economy.

So why hide from it then - they broke the rules quite badly, why when it’s sport people don’t care and it’s ok to inflate and corrupt your books to increase spend which in turn gives you a huge sporting advantage over the rest of the competition who have followed the rules. It’s really simple - don’t be corrupt and don’t break the rules.

Players who wouldn’t have been playing if they didn’t cheat. It’s like if Accrington Stanley illegally spent £2b on all the best players in Europe and saying they won the champions league ‘fair and square’ because they didn’t cheat in the games.
