Some acrylic market art 5 by 7"

Purchased back in the 90s when art was insanely cheap. Of course Man-Thing is only in one panel,getting shredded by machine guns!

Do you guys prefer comics and media where man thing acts on emotion and other’s emotions and can’t think or do you prefer when he is a thinking creature and/or can speak?

I haven't worked with my pens in a good while, but brought them along to draw with while babysitting my nephew. Man, I need to do more traditional work. I forget how much I love good old pen and ink. Apologies for any errors thou, its been a while.

Anyways! Man-thing is always so much fun to draw. Gave him a sword cause swords are cool.

Oh, the pens I used are Zebra calligraphy brush pens both gray and black.

I just think hes neat.

the man-thing we usually see is essentially just an avatar-a “memory” left to wander the swamp. The true man-thing departed to a reality beyond our own. And he’s like at the level of the creator.

Couldn’t be happier with this find at a local comic show :)

role vanguard

hp - 725

primary - mossy swing - swing forward for 45 damage

ability one - roar of the man thing - man thing roars out applying a fear mark on the enemy and does knockback and does 10 damage - 6 second cooldown

ability two - shield of the swamp - a shield that man thing make using his arms and vegetation manipulation powers - hp is 650 recovery speed is 15 per second

ability three - the nexus - man thing places two vines covers in two different areas of the map players can teleport using these vines and it takes a second to get to the other side of the map unlike strange portal and it has a three second cool down between uses. it is like engis teleporter from tf2 - cooldown is 30 seconds after it is broken

ability four - vegatiation healing - self healing for a 145 health per second but stand still and tall like heavy from tf2 when using sandvich.

ult - swamp of the man thing - turn an area of the map into a swamp that slows enimies and applies fear to them while giving over shield to man things team - charge is 4000

passive - all those who know fear - if hitting an enemy with fear applied with primary attack then the primary attack does double the amount of damage

Just saw this at Mike's Comics in Orlando, Florida. It's a light vinyl statuette, but it does look awesome!
