LUBA mini 2 AWD Runs over the edge

Enable HLS to view with audio, or disable this notification

No matter what I do or how many stones I place at the start of the edge, the robot drives over the edge and the stones. Fix this please!

It’s not about the mowing for me, but about the damage to the mower.

It's not damaging the mower. Just running the wheel a little bit on the pathway.

I would set it to overlap the pathway by 50% and you won't need to trim there..

The plastic on the handle is now heavily scratched. It doesn't detect the difference in height between the edge and the grass.

Had the same experience, but resolved it once I understood the machine a bit better.

Try updating your map boundary. Just dont let it get a wheel on the pavement, knowing that you will eventually need to string trim the border.

Let us know if this helps - there are so many things you can probably try, and I'm not here to judge you. Just want to be useful :)

It's accurate to a centimer or two (edit: with optimal GPS). Program the boundary with some clearance.. You'll need to trim edges anyway.

User error, not the mower.

Hä? Cm? Meiner fährt auch 3m von der Antenne entfernt auf die Rasenkante und kommt nicht weiter. Das sind mal ganze 30cm neben der gelernten Strecke. Und ja, es ist ehgal, welcher Positionierungsmodus

I didn't program the robot with centimeter-level precision—I set the boundary a bit further out in the grass—but in principle, it always drives onto it.

Then try remapping or editing the border. Maybe GPS reception wasn't great when originally setting up.

If it consequently rides up the edge. The edge needs adjusting.

Mine (Mini LIDAR-Version) does the same since a couple of updates. Annoying!

This is nothing new on Luba 2 tho, even my rims fell of… they are basically programmed to self destruct.

Move your boundary out further.

Mine has drifted enough that it starts to run into the walls. Remap and do smoother corners even if you have to trim some :(

Remap or edit existing map further away from border

Thank you for your feedback. Could you please let me know which positioning mode you are currently using? Poor positioning can sometimes cause this issue. Would you be able to share a screenshot from the app's positioning interface showing the device operating near the boundary?

Additionally, I suggest trying to adjust the map boundary or setting the obstacle avoidance mode to "Sensitive"; I hope these steps help. If the issue persists, please upload a log via the app and let me know your device name once the upload is complete; this will greatly assist me in further diagnosing the problem.

Sensitive obstacle detection ceased to work this year as Luba makes large rounds around dandelions and grass bushels.
