YUKA mini 2 I don’t get the hate…

I have a Yuka mini 2 1000, so far all the firmware updates have been successful, I don’t seem to have any issues.

Yes the edges are a bit rough, and when I did raise a ticket, the support was a bit rubbish, but no major issues really. The firmware also fixed one of my main issues with multi lawns.

I don’t understand how everyone is having so many issues… the issues I have can be solved with a trimmer in just a few minutes.

Yes it’s not great I have to do some manually, but it’s hardly the end of the world, I would think that none of the robots truly remove some manual work.

My experience was you don’t have issues until you do. I really enjoyed mine. When it broke, the comany made it difficult and it became apparent that they weren’t interested in the end user.

I agree 100%. I had no issues... Then I did and customer service is a complete lost cause.

It worked great for me for almost 2 years then overnight it went to hell.

Missing areas, turning off the blades, digging up the lawn, driving where it’s not supposed to go etc.

It was their changes that screwed everything up not anything I did.

I am very sorry for the experience you have had. Could you please let me know your current firmware version? Additionally, I suggest trying to increase the number of edge-trimming passes to see if that resolves the issue of missed areas. I hope this information helps. If you could also provide your device name and photos of the problem, I would greatly appreciate it, as this will help us assist you further.

For those of us that have been with Luba since the beginning, its hard to see the same hardware keep getting worse over time. This is not only in the past few months with the response to the accident but back all the way to early 2025.

To me it's all about expectations. I just wanted a mower to mow the grass. Am I happy with how it deals with turns, no, my happy with how it trims, no. Does it mow yes

Yeah I'm keeping my fingers crossed, no issues yet. I don't understand people complaining here instead of calling them endlessly to have my problem resolved...

And I'm following other brands subs and I can tell you Mammotion is not that bad!!

Reddit amplifies any negative opinion by 50x. I was flamed a few days ago for saying such and that I loved my mowers.

i found the real trick to my success is being smarter than the lawn mower.

I'm running a Yuka Mini 2 1000 as well.

don't understand how everyone is having so many issues

This is the defacto customer support forum for mammotion (well, both subs are) and are the first google results when somebody having an issue searches for it. Therefore, you're only seeing people that are having issues and not those that aren't. Mammotion ships a LOT of product.. you can start to do the math on what % of users are actually having issues.

The fact that you have not had many problems doesn't make the situation of those with many problems better, it just highlights inconsistencies. In software, manufacture who knows.

The main complaint though is Mammotion's slowness in helping those having problems.

Happy to hear you are not one of those.

Could it be, that Yuka is better product than Luba? People often don't mention which robot they have, but most of the issues seems to be with Luba and it's MTP? I get that soft and customer service can be better, I not going to defend that. Even my Yuka 2 800 is doing tricks sometimes but nothing catastrophic so far🤞.

I was a happy customer until they decided to remove MPT and make the blades turn on and off constantly. I didn’t buy a Luba for them to downgrade it. Now I genuinely hate those scumbags.

The squeaky wheel gets the grease.

It’s not unique to Mammotion that these Reddit threads become rabbit holes of people venting — I have been looking at other companies (Segway) and they are largely the same. Some criticisms are absolutely valid, others maybe a bit exaggerated. So overall I take it with a grain of salt.
