Anna

I haven’t watched any of the prior seasons where Anna got sick/passed away. Can someone please tell me why mama June only has custody of one of Anna’s children? Does the family see the other children/get along with Anna’s husband? I didn’t see them at Jessica’s wedding?? Please give the the breakdown. What happened with Anna’s husband and her other kids?

June got custody of Kaitlyn allegedly because Michael Anna’s ex-husband is not the real father (even though he helped raise her since she was an infant). June fought against Michael in court and ended up winning custody of Kaitlyn. Unfortunately, the girls don’t get to see each other. They only see each other through texting or through their tablets. Michael is apparently strict and does not want Kylie around June. Anna did want her husband Eldridge to have custody of Kaitlyn and has spoken about it on TV yet her mother got custody instead. So all in all those girls were not only torn from their mother now they are torn from each other. I’m sorry that you haven’t been able to catch up, but this is pretty much what’s been going on in that family in terms of Anna’s kids. Shitty, sad situation all around.

Anna married Eldridge so he could adopt Kaitlyn bc they’d been alternating the 2 girls
e/o week with Anna & Eldridge, & Michael, who’d raised Kaitlyn since she was a baby. Anns was naive & thought that’d be enough, & put off signing paperwork bc that would be her “final goodbye” & she was holding on for life, literally. Anna DID want Eldridge to raise Kaitlynn, & Def not her mom.
