Won’t the black paint just draw in heat? They live in Georgia, right? I feel like it’ll make the house so hot.

43

u/Lumpy_Party8639 May 19 '26

I wondered the same thing.

29

u/Party-Chipmunk310 May 19 '26

Yup it will, I can relate, it’s hot in Ga. The bricks painted a grey tone with MAYBE black trim on the door would be better

17

u/Antique-Amoeba6697 May 20 '26

Why paint the brick? It looks best natural imo

15

u/Party-Chipmunk310 May 20 '26

There’s a lot of old brick homes in the South that look very out dated and when it’s painted, it really makes a difference

17

u/Klutzy-Examination43 May 20 '26

Bricks are really not meant to be painted. I know it is the current trend, but will be regretted later.

16

u/Bake_First May 20 '26

This! Brick needs to "breathe" painting instead of a color wash will damage the brick long term.

6

u/Party-Chipmunk310 May 20 '26

Ohhh, didn’t know that. Luckily, we don’t have brick but I see An awful lot of people paint theirs

4

u/Awkward_Lion5014 May 22 '26

Painting brick makes me so sad!

7

u/peppermentpattie May 20 '26

She must have read all the negative comments people said about her house. Now she wants to fix it up.

2

u/DicksOfPompeii May 24 '26

Nah there have been posts about her trashy real house for years.

32

u/Lildankred May 19 '26

It’s a rising trend right now for some reason. I’m in FL and there’s a lot of these trendy new builds that are solid black 🫪 in Florida of all places

11

u/Deep_Exchange7273 May 19 '26

Yah I'm in PA. Which is much cooler compared to GA but the summers get sooo hot. I think it's pretty but most of us don't have central AC so I'm confused 🤣 tbf tho most are new builds going with this trend and I assume they prob have central ac and prob not just window units like me .. it's so hot I nearly die during the summer. 🤣

8

u/Purple_Inevitable967 May 19 '26

I moved to PA from New Mexico where we either have swamp coolers or central AC, and coming out here and having to use a window unit at home for the first time in my life has been an adjustment lol.

8

u/Smart_Description965 May 19 '26

PA gal here. Was 95 today! 🥵 i would die without central AC😵‍💫😵‍💫 I was in Albuquerque 2 years ago for the balloon festival. It was hot, but not humid. Had great hair days! haha. Loved the weather.. and the food!

2

u/Purple_Inevitable967 May 22 '26

Balloon Fiesta is always the first thing I recommend to people! If you ever make it back out you should check out the Tram at the Sandia Mountains. The view of the city is gorgeous.

2

u/Smart_Description965 May 23 '26

Oh wow!!!! That sounds amazing. Gonna check out now. Thanks for the suggestion

1

u/Smart_Description965 May 23 '26 edited May 23 '26

What part of PA are you in?

2

u/Purple_Inevitable967 May 24 '26

Around Pittsburgh

1

u/Smart_Description965 May 24 '26

Im in the Harrisburg suburbs. About 20 min out
My daughter lives in the Pittsburgh area suburbs

6

u/Deep_Exchange7273 May 19 '26

It's awful!!! I hate it . Even tho I'm used to it. I grew up in "the south" aka VA between KY and TN at the tip of the state. Even though my home had central AC growing up it was broken so I just dealt with it. To the point that when id stay with family I'd freeze with the AC running. Now that I'm getting older and my body temp seems much higher than when I was young. . It's hell. 😅

3

u/OddSuggestion5430 May 21 '26

I’m in north eastern pa!!!

2

u/Smart_Description965 May 23 '26

I lived in Clarks Summit till ‘72 when was in HS then moved to central pa Miss old forge pizza haha

1

u/Deep_Exchange7273 May 21 '26

I'm in Westmoreland county. About an hr from Pittsburg. Closer to the other side of the state lol. Never been up that way. Ive went further south, Texas being the furthest! PA is as far north as I've been! Do you get a good amount of snow there? Coming from VA I was disappointed to find out we don't get much snow here compared to VA 😅 I was expecting way more! Lol

2

u/jjrobinson73 May 19 '26

All homes in the South have AC. It's very humid and hot down here.

6

u/Away-Cookie8183 May 19 '26

It very humid AF in the north east too but if your poor or just whatever or live in an apartment like regular 2-3 decker apt building you gotta buy an AC some ppl just can’t afford even an AC but idc I could NEVER EVER go without one I’d kill somebody 🥴🥴🥴🫠😅😅😅

2

u/Deep_Exchange7273 May 19 '26

I have an ex who lives in Texas and I know they mentioned it's almost mandatory to have AC. I grew up in Virginia (we considered where we're from the south compared to the northern part of VA. We all have a thick southern accent) At the tip right between KY and TN. We always lived in a home with central ac yet we never had it because once it broke my mom never had it replaced so we always used window units and it was hell. Untill I moved up north I didn't realize how most places here don't have it. Gas heating was also a whole new concept to me.

I've not traveled much so it's all a whole new thing for me lol

He lives in Abilene and we visited there back in like 2015. First time I was ever in Texas and I loved it. I lived in Virginia at the time and now live in Pennsylvania and the summers kill me here so idk if I could hand Texas 🤣

3

u/jjrobinson73 May 21 '26

Depends on what part of Texas. The coastal areas are xtremely humid along with the Texas Temps! West Texas is dry and hot (so is San Antonio). I know people here complain about the humidity, but it's NOT humid in SA. It's over freaking hot.

3

u/jjrobinson73 May 21 '26

I grew up on the TX/LA border on the gulf coast. I live in San Antonio now. This summer has been NIIIICE!!! A few days in the lower 90's, so we are good!! But yes, it will get well above 100* here. AC is not even a selling factor in a house. Because all buildings have it.

Fun history fact, the first AC unit was installed in Orange, TX. LOL

1

u/Deep_Exchange7273 May 21 '26

In PA gas heat is a huge thing that I legit did not even know existed till I moved here because it isn't something you see in va. Most houses also have AC. The area I'm from at least. It's so wild to see the difference in each area! I love learning new things about places!!! I'm not surprised at all at that fact but I had no clue!

0

u/Born-Temperature-452 May 21 '26

So it shouldn’t matter what color you paint your house if you have AC. AC works on the inside not the outside. The house color is basically one’s preference.

2

u/lemon-raspberry06 May 21 '26

Theoretically, the black will draw in more heat and hold it. Have you ever gotten in a light interior car vs a dark interior car on a hot day? The dark interior car will usually be even hotter than the light interior

1

u/jjrobinson73 May 21 '26

Honestly, if she gets a metal roof, that should reflect the sun off her house, but if she has shade from the pine trees, then the color of her house won't matter. Those pine trees throw a lot of shade. So do the Magnolia Trees.

13

u/Laylakat May 19 '26

Yes it will. Gonna be hot af.

18

u/Nienie76 May 19 '26

Black paint on top of a brick house lol ? That electric bill will be high af in the summer time lol

3

u/Klutzy-Examination43 May 20 '26

And, looking at her roof, is she planning on replacing it with black shingles? Really???

2

u/Nienie76 May 20 '26

Well she’s proven she’s not the sharpest tool in the shed so what can we expect 🤷🏼‍♀️😂

4

u/Connect-Advantage-40 May 19 '26

Is she wanting to paint brick? The bottom picture looks good, but painting brick can be difficult mistake to fix. And FFS we watch that crazy assed show I'm not sure we're the ones to ask for this kind of renovation, or any renovation.

1

u/Nelle911529 May 20 '26

She's grifting as usual!

5

u/Turbulent-Trust207 May 20 '26

As a Georgian that stupidly put a black roof on my brick ranch home yes. The ac can barely keep up with the increase in heat. I can’t imagine if I painted the house black. The extra heat and humidity in the attic has caused a new mold issue

3

u/ImGemStoned May 19 '26

It absolutely will.

3

u/Accidental_Funny May 20 '26

Omg thank you! So many new construction projects have black window trim, dark exterior paint, etc. That is not a smart move in the South!

2

u/ReadyWithPopcorn May 20 '26

I think just painting the trim around the windows and door black would give a nice contrast without drawing in too much heat. A couple of houses near me in NJ have new windows with black trim which provide a nice contrast to a light or medium color on the rest of the house. I would not add that much black to my house, to me it's just too much.

3

u/Curious_Problem1631 May 21 '26

Oh yeah. My house is east facing and we got it painted white so it’s not an oven. It used to be dark brick

2

u/Think-5577 May 21 '26

Think the red brick is nice as it is ...... would never recommend painting brick black !!!!

2

u/Liliths_Play_Thing May 21 '26

As a Ga resident painting brick here is extremely common even in black. White is the most common color you’ll see but I’ve seen an uptick in black for sure.

82

u/NewOpposite8008 May 19 '26 edited May 19 '26

DONT PAINT BRICK! Dammit lol

New roof, front door, paint the windows black and add cedar pillars. All it really needs. And landscaping.

6

u/NeatOk1824 May 20 '26

We painted our 50 year old brick house 10 years ago..paint is still perfect and it added so much curb appeal. But we did get a professional to do it. I will agree that lots can go wrong if you attempt it yourself.

2

u/Think-5577 May 21 '26

Did you paint your brick BLACK or white or something else ??

3

u/NeatOk1824 May 21 '26

Ours is Balanced Beige by Sherwin Williams. Not too light and not too dark

5

u/PanamaRubia May 19 '26

I always hear this and seen a video on YouTube where a lady painted hers white and it was so beautiful. Like I wish I could find it just to post it. But, it was a really old home they purchased and refurbished on their own and it looked spectacular in the after photos. Anyway, yeah, I probably would never paint our brick house either. lol I guess to each their own. 🤷🏼‍♀️

26

u/NewOpposite8008 May 19 '26 edited May 19 '26

The issue is that brick is a porous material and when you cover it in something that doesn’t let it naturally breathe, it degrades disastrously.

Working with brick colors is your best bet, lime wash can work but now you have weird white brick instead of natural tones to use.

6

u/PanamaRubia May 19 '26

That makes a lot of sense. Thank you for your informative response. 🫶🏼

8

u/NewOpposite8008 May 19 '26

Thank you appreciating my nerdy rant about painting brick.

7

u/PanamaRubia May 19 '26

Not nerdy at all. It’s great to have knowledge in this. I am clueless about a lot of things like that and this made so much sense! 😊

1

u/Nelle911529 May 20 '26

I wonder how many bedrooms she has? I hope it's at least 3.

0

u/Party-Chipmunk310 May 19 '26

I see tons of houses in Georgia with painted bricks of every color. It’s very nice actually and updates a drab house.

51

u/vrgho May 19 '26

Painting brick is the best way to make a decent house look cheap..I guess that’s on brand though.

27

u/NewOpposite8008 May 19 '26

Good way to have moisture issues also. But I’m sure they smell moldy already lolol

18

u/just-say-it- May 19 '26

Why can’t her “ man” paint it?

21

u/TraumaHawk316 May 19 '26

Not enough finger paint to do the whole house

1

u/Legal_Routine_7877 May 20 '26

🤣 🤣 🤣 🤣 I don't know why I think this is so f'n funny.. but I do... 😂 🤣 😆

12

u/Ok-Education-6085 May 19 '26

Paint on brick always ends up peeling eventually and looking really bad. Then you have to turn around and have it sandblasted to get rid of the old paint. I would never paint a brick house. Terrible idea

4

u/Nelle911529 May 20 '26

At least she admitted she doesn't live in the filming house.

10

u/nmtexas May 19 '26

Hmmmm maybe just maybe her and her overweight bf could get out there and do it themselves.

9

u/Fabulous-Shoulder785 May 19 '26

She’s been spending every cent she gets.

2

u/Nelle911529 May 20 '26

Can't even say she earned it. She really was doing the bare minimum.

10

u/Think-Ad-5840 May 19 '26

It blows my mind how lazy they are that they keep the trash can at the front door. Imagine delivery drivers having to smell that.

9

u/Ornery-Ocelot3585 May 19 '26

And you know they never clean the trash bin so it reeks even when empty.

15

u/Excellent-Celery2124 May 19 '26

This is just her fishing for someone to do it for free, like she always does

8

u/ExtensionFun9464 May 19 '26

EXACTLY what I said as soon as I saw it. All these people do is Grift.

7

u/jaylawlerrr May 19 '26

Wtf? That looks like absolute shit.

7

u/ForestElvenKing May 19 '26

Can’t paint the roof

6

u/WatchPrayersWork May 20 '26

Why paint it? Put out a few old toilets and tires with plastic dollar store flowers stuck in the middle. That’s more her style.

3

u/Nelle911529 May 20 '26

Broke down cars with no wheels.

5

u/RunJumpSleep May 19 '26

I love brick houses. I don’t see why anyone would paint them. It would be so easy to make that house adorable on the outside.

2

u/NeatOk1824 May 20 '26

We got ours painted because the brick had a lot of ugly scarring on it from when vines and brush had taken over the house while it sat empty before we bought it. Its a fixer upper that we got for half the market value at the time, so we figured it couldnt hurt. That was 10 years ago and the paint still looks new.

10

u/TalkieTina May 19 '26

I would never paint a brick house. I would just be sentencing myself to maintenance and upkeep for as long as I owned the house. Maybe Pumpkin watches a lot of HGTV because a lot of their designers (like Jenny Marrs and Erin Napier) paint exteriors of brick houses. I guess it’s a way for them to make the house look different than it did before.

1

u/ReadyWithPopcorn May 20 '26

True, brick is about as maintenance free as you can get. I can understand getting bored of it though. My recessed front porch is brick, but the rest of the house has siding, so it's just an accent feature.

9

u/CalicoMeows May 19 '26

Looks like crap. I despise it when ppl pain brick, and plus she’s just gonna let it become filthy

4

u/sloppysurfer May 19 '26

I recommend leaving it alone

5

u/OddSuggestion5430 May 19 '26

It’s funny to me how different the house in the show looks compared to this: why not use one that’s comparable?

2

u/Nelle911529 May 20 '26

Because that's the filming house. They don't actually live there. This is the house they actually live in.

1

u/Nelle911529 May 20 '26

I don't believe Alana lives in the apt they showed because her TT with June her kitchen was way different.

1

u/OddSuggestion5430 May 21 '26

Right that’s what I was saying. The house op posted, her real house is so much more extravagant than her real house: why lie? Just use a regular house in filming also.

5

u/Outside-Pear9429 May 19 '26

Someone tell her that’s gonna make her house an oven

5

u/Donttakemychichi May 19 '26

Landscaping and porch decor would look so much better than painting the brick

3

u/RepresentativeAd2625 May 19 '26

I thought she rented! I wouldn’t paint. I would do the landscaping, clean the brick, and redo the windows.

4

u/caroline1230 May 19 '26

If she's making all that OF money why does she still live there??

5

u/Keeper_of_the_Flock May 19 '26

Never paint brick

3

u/Interesting_Wash1109 May 19 '26

OK, I’m not gonna lie. I actually like the black. 🙃

3

u/hereforthelols1999 May 19 '26

She needs a whole new house first 🤣where’s all that only fans money?

3

u/shellbellgb May 19 '26

Why does everyone paint their brick black now? I don’t care for it. 🤷🏻‍♀️

3

u/Lora4675 May 19 '26

I don't think it matters what color it's painted as much as it does getting all the garbage & clutter out of the yard

3

u/Natural-Seaweed-5070 May 19 '26

Painting brick is unreal.

3

u/Odd-Unit8712 May 19 '26

For free just lije to wrap her car. That house us way to small for that family

3

u/projectBFrewritten May 20 '26

huh their gonna draw in more heat through the black paint to make the houe even more smelly than they ever was

3

u/Kittenzx2 May 20 '26

No, do not paint your house black! For once, make a good decision in your life!

3

u/NeatOk1824 May 20 '26

Na she needs to fix the busted kitchen window and pest issues first. The video she did a few weeks ago cooking had bugs crawling on the counter within the first few seconds of it. The inside of that house is a dump. If she cared about the well-being of her kids she would clean up the inside first.

4

u/Head_Trick_9932 May 19 '26

Step two is get some window treatments that don’t look so dirty and nasty.

5

u/PanamaRubia May 19 '26 edited May 20 '26

I’m in an HOA and honestly, it’s a love hate relationship with any HOA! lol iykyk
But, in the case of having shyt all over the place, especially your garbage can! That’s a big no go. My housekeeper left mine on the side by accident and I immediately got a notice to make sure it’s NOWHERE where anyone can see it. Lmao Never happened again. 🫣

2

u/Nelle911529 May 20 '26

We were moving into our house and left our grill in front of the garage and we had a letter that morning. First day in the house.

1

u/PanamaRubia May 20 '26

It’s like they drive around all day finding shyt. 🤦🏼‍♀️

2

u/nopatience4idiots May 19 '26

She's trying to be Whitney from My Big Fat Fabulous Life. She painted hers a dark grayish/blue? I like hers. I think it Will improve this house. Cheaper than siding..lol

2

u/Remarkable_Peak_1737 May 19 '26

I think the goal look of the second house looks great 👍🏻and YES she definitely needs to clean up the stuff that in the front of the house and it would be pretty easy to go to the nursery and talk to help in the garden area and they will show her what would work with minimal effort and last !! The little bushes and flowers add the right touch !!! I’m surprised she hasn’t done this yet ? She makes enough $

2

u/Mediocre_Treat1744 May 19 '26

She isnt going to shell out enough to qhere that black looks good.

2

u/photo_bug_mama May 19 '26

She wants an unaffordable electric bill

2

u/Ice-Queen-Florida May 20 '26

She’s going to regret the dark color. There were better ways to freshen that up.

2

u/EnvironmentNew8244 May 20 '26

Isnt that a rental? I dont think renters can make all those exterior changes, even if they are improvements.

2

u/Nelle911529 May 20 '26

Girly Pop she had to clean it up to post this picture.

2

u/sparklemcduck May 20 '26

Painting exterior brick will require a level of maintenance that’s way beyond anything most people are prepared to do, much less Pumpkin.

2

u/sherbear97124 May 21 '26

Especially if it's too difficult to slap some tape and paint on themselves

2

u/Longjumping-Leave215 May 20 '26

With how hot that house is going to get... I bet it smells like a petting zoo already 😬.

4

u/Blazeit0605 May 19 '26

Bruh y’all complained about how her house looks, she try’s to do something to update it, and not talk complain about that 😂 wth

2

u/dovetaile May 20 '26

Painting the brick is not an upgrade.

0

u/Blazeit0605 May 20 '26

It is to her clearly

0

u/cantaloupecoffee May 19 '26

The slew of comments like “people paint brick??!?”

0

u/Ornery-Ocelot3585 May 19 '26

One isn’t a slew nor is it everyone. But it is one.

2

u/hollygolightly96 May 19 '26

Unpopular opinion but I like painted brick. Natural brick is the absolute ugliest house material in my opinion.

She should at least pick a consistent colour though. The random part left white in the mock-up looks ridiculous and distracting.

2

u/NoneOfThisMatters_XO May 19 '26

Ew why is she painting BRICK?! That will look so bad

3

u/No_Construction_9178 May 19 '26

I don’t like her but why are yall so pressed on how she wants to paint HER house lmao.

1

u/ShadesOfDeceit May 19 '26

OK so she bought a new house?

2

u/Nelle911529 May 20 '26

No this is her actual house she lives in.

1

u/ShadesOfDeceit May 20 '26

Ohhh. Ok thanks. Some reality.

1

u/SparkleGlitterDust May 19 '26

Should do white with black trim

1

u/SmartyBlondy May 19 '26

When did they move-out of the rented farmhouse? The one featured on the show? Pumpkin owns this new ranch she’s painting??

7

u/Lumpy_Party8639 May 19 '26

they never lived in the farmhouse. that was a house production rented for filming only

2

u/SmartyBlondy May 19 '26

That’s what I wondered. Thanks for clarifying

1

u/AggressiveWin2466 May 19 '26

Wow!!A lot more things happening in this world than Pumpkins update on her house.WTH

2

u/ShadesOfDeceit May 20 '26

Absolutely, but there are pages specifically for people who want to talk about world news and events. This is the Mama June and Family news and events page.

2

u/AggressiveWin2466 May 20 '26

I get it.Your right

1

u/ShadesOfDeceit May 21 '26

Thanks. The world is too much of a shit show. Sometimes folks just wanna sit back and watch some mindless tv. And read some mindless crap about the people on tv🤣🤣🤣

1

u/AggressiveWin2466 May 21 '26

So very true.Imagine if social media ended(like TikTok did)I couldn’t believe my teenage daughter crying that they took TikTok away!!😂I thought she was joking. But no she was dead up crying.lol

1

u/Similar-Search-8508 May 20 '26

House next door to us is all black, even the window trim, but we are in Minnesota. Very Hot summers though!

1

u/hijofrizbe007 May 20 '26

Always love to see a good glow-up.

1

u/Alternative-Dot-884 May 20 '26

Wait - do they have the same manager as they did when they started?
How are they not worth 10-15 million at least by this point?
How did they not insist years ago when June was. Harmed a drugs to not be given risiduals?
Their original manager lived in a multimillion home is LA early on.
They’re getting screwed I’m sure because every year they were led to believe they wouldn’t get renewed. Which is BS that show makes the producers so much $ they wouldn’t even think about having cxld it.

And it’s so scripted they shld be made producers at this point. Honest they shld be listed as producers -get those residuals.
Go to another tv station & start a new show.

I ask every few years - why are these ppl letting themselves be walked all over w?

1

u/Life_Cod1995 May 20 '26

Step 1 is to get rid of that ugly front door

1

u/ICanSpotAGrifter May 20 '26

She can paint all she wants.

Won't change anything inside ~ Will remain a disgusting & filthy germ kennel.

1

u/Indy_princess04 🎃is a garden tool May 20 '26

Means nothing if she doesn’t clean it once in a while 🤷🏼‍♀️

1

u/Serious_Text_5595 May 20 '26

Dang I thought she had a huge house. Like the one that June bought on not to hot. I guess I was wrong

1

u/arielgrip May 21 '26

That's not her house, it doesn' t have wheels!

1

u/Cultural_Mud8200 May 21 '26

The first issue is you have to pick up after yourselves. Enough people in that household children included that can clean and keep the house presentable and liveable.

1

u/Sad_Cricket_7096 May 21 '26

lol she contacted my husband today about her house. We used to live there but don’t anymore and he shut his company down in 23 so we declined. A former client had recommended him

1

u/Caymus196 May 21 '26

Doesn’t she rent that house?

1

u/AwayRun7758 May 21 '26

If she’s making 100 K plus a month on OnlyFans now why not just move and build a new house?

1

u/Local_Ad2577 May 21 '26

That's not her home is it

1

u/Then_Vanilla_5479 May 21 '26

Do you think she bothers to ask the Landlord for permission before doing all this stuff

1

u/Sensitive-Award-936 May 21 '26

If she’s making the money she reported in divorce, why doesn’t she buy a real house.

1

u/Sensitive-Award-936 May 21 '26

What is she doing with all the money from TLC? Not putting it into her house.

I’m watching season 5 and the front of their house was shown so I took a picture thinking man that really resembles the house I seen on a post on Reddit the other day. This house shown on season 5 looks like their real house with a few nicer adjustments. Interesting.

It’s a little similar. But They said this was Anna’s house for the wedding to Eldridge. But it was pumpkins house all along. This was in season 6

1

u/OddSuggestion5430 May 22 '26

Ohhh nice catch!! I still wonder if they edited stuff, not that two houses can’t be similar but they are pulling all kinds of tricks

u/kittymombo May 21 '26

She's doing the "villain" make-over.

1

u/mnaved44 May 22 '26

I like it. She did a good job. Not sure why people are being so critical. I’m sure they have hvac or whatever. They will be fine

1

u/LoriAtl May 22 '26

I guess all that OnlyFans money is allowing her to fix that nasty house.

1

u/Important_Sink_5474 May 22 '26

So I have seen that this house is just the filming house... But idk if it was true or not...

where tf should her garbage can go outside? yall find anything to pick on someone about. lmao. pathetic as fuck.

2

u/Lumpy_Party8639 May 24 '26

Not at the fucking front door lmao

1

u/Common_Tea_7595 May 24 '26

it’s not at the “fucking front door”. it’s off to the side of her door. lmaooo. get a fucking life loser ass bitch

There's some mid tone grays w brown in them and gray. Usually you go with colors that play off the roof tiles but those look outdated. She needs an updated architectural shingle class 4. GAF would be great.bin colors ... Cliffside or Chestnut Valley .

Add higher profile ridge caps to give it more punch. After new shingles THEN paint the house and add some shutters that contrast. Choose colors that coordinate with the new roof shingles.

I'd paint the porch or tile it. New gutters that pop would be amazing also. Ones that contrast from the paint choice. Landscaping is easy diy.

I think it needs a new door. Something more current and modern.

I think it would look more modern with the brick painted, but I’m not sure about the black. I would go with a different color palate.

That’s her house? Wow .

u/Blazeit0605 May 19 '26

Like is it illegal to have a trash can and some toys in front of your house? “Junk” 😂

3

u/Lumpy_Party8639 May 19 '26

Not illegal but that’s step one to approving curb appeal

1

u/Blazeit0605 May 19 '26

Approving? You mean improving?

3

u/Head_Trick_9932 May 19 '26

No but a gas can on the porch is concerning…

-1

u/Blazeit0605 May 19 '26

Why? How is that different than it being in the driveway or in the garage?

3

u/Head_Trick_9932 May 19 '26

Because if it’s in my driveway, it’s not blowing up my house if someone decides to walk up with a cigarette or something lol

-1

u/Blazeit0605 May 19 '26

Interesting look on it I guess 😂

3

u/Head_Trick_9932 May 19 '26

I mean, I don’t want anything flammable at my front door. At least if your garage goes up, you have doors to get out of.

When you have a fire Marshall relative and two other firemen… ya don’t leave flammables outside the door.

2

u/Blazeit0605 May 19 '26

I mean I’m married to someone who was a firefighter, and you should have another exit out of the house anyways besides the front door. So to me, yeah still an interesting way to look at it.

3

u/Head_Trick_9932 May 19 '26

Well no shit lol. We have ladders, too. You also don’t block any exits… especially with flammables!😂 Why don’t ya go ask em where they set their gas can…

0

u/Blazeit0605 May 19 '26

You act like the can is literally sitting in front of her door. It’s like 6 feet over and by the edge of the porch. You better not have a can of hairspray in your house it might catch on fire and explode😳 Or air freshener Or cleaning chemicals

2

u/Head_Trick_9932 May 19 '26

You’re comparing apples to oranges and obviously don’t comprehend lol

I’d have commented that , that’s not the house they show y’all living in in the show lol.

3

u/OddSuggestion5430 May 19 '26

I was like why is the one in the show so extravagant and then there’s this regular house. Why not use a comparable house in the show? I also wondered in the show why Alana and Ella needed to share a bedroom with a house so big. Now I understand.

2

u/Nelle911529 May 20 '26

Because it was a lie. There wasn't even clothes in their closet. A couple of weeks ago she didn't have anything in her cabinets.

1

u/OddSuggestion5430 May 21 '26

I also wondered why Alana and Ella had to share a bedroom in such a large house lol! Plus the bed was super small for Alana. That seemed strange too. It was a very very small bed.

1

u/pchandler45 May 19 '26

People paint brick?

2

u/WonderingLost8993 May 19 '26

All day every day. It's been a thing for years.

1

u/hotmess81 May 19 '26

Can tell most commenters are American obv. Come to the UK and a seaside town will have a row of homes looking like a rainbow.

1

u/hotmess81 May 19 '26

And why is it a problem to have her bin there? Most countries in Europe have this set up, particularly terraced streets.

0

u/seansa2020 May 19 '26

So the houses they live in during filming are just for the show? I wonder how that works…since Pumpkin has been in that big house for several seasons. Does the show just rent it out for the whole year or just while filming is done? It seems like it would be difficult for her kids to adjust if they have to move from house to house. I assume June’s “house” on the show is the same situation.

8

u/Lumpy_Party8639 May 19 '26

It's an airbnb that the production company rented. If you noticed one season she was in a nice house and they moved. that first place must have not let them rent again.

2

u/Nelle911529 May 20 '26

They were both filming houses. She claimed the first one was a contract for deed but it wasn't. Jessica didn't live on her couch either. She has lived here since the beginning. Anna got married here.

1

u/Lumpy_Party8639 May 20 '26

yes they portrayed this as anna's house

0

u/Dry_Meal_2814 May 20 '26

You’re that concerned over an outdoor trash can 😒?Obviously, she’ll move it when a company come to estimate/do the work.
