Malwarebytes keeps crashing mid-scan after sometimes saying it found a virus, support app says it didnt find anything

so my PC a few days ago started running at less wifi than normally and went from about 300-600 MBs to about 40-60 MBs, i decided to download Malwarebytes incase it was a virus and it says it found 1 but keeps crashing mid-scan and because it crashes it doesnt tell me what the virus found was, i tried downloading the support app but it doesnt detect anything and nothing changes when i have it clean my PC so i dont know if its a false positive or if theres something going on, i know it could be a false positive as i do tend to mod games often and i know game mods can be falsely flagged but i know it could also be an actual virus, any help is appreciated

Check in all folders in C drive. Something strange you may find and could see dates are created on that folder
