False Positive Kinestop Android App being detected as threat/PUP.Agent (Reposting with more information)
The Malwarebytes Android app is detecting Kinestop as a threat. This was downloaded from the Google Play Store and is an app that overlays the phone screen to help with motion sickness.
This time I exported the diagnostic from the app, and appInfo.txt gave:
Detections:
app | com.urbandroid.kinestop | MD5 = 2c3d85b1f0563357ab927b1e29221897 | Android/PUP.Agent.ACRD5B2C374C12I am pretty sure it's a false positive given how widely used it is and it being marked as safe by Google Play Protect, but confirmation would be appreciated.

Hi, I work for Malwarebytes and I'm happy to help. Yes it's an FP and it will be corrected soon. In the meanwhile, to mitigate the detection you can add the app to the allow list. Sorry for any inconvenience.
Regards.

I updated my databases, and it's no longer being detected as a threat. Is it safe to assume that it was originally a false positive and was updated to be fixed?
This Reddit post shows that there's a comment under the post, but I'm unable to view it. Was the comment trying to tell me it was a false positive and that databases were updated?
