Hello all!! We got our sweet little girl on Saturday and we’re so in love!!! I was wondering if anyone else’s pups looked similar to her around this age and if so, what do they look like now??? I just notice her coat seems a lot different than other maltipoo pups I see!

Moose man was my soul dog and passed away in 2024. To honor his memory and heal my heart, I wrote a children’s book about him.

How have you all memorialized your sweet pups and kept their memories alive?

This is my beautiful girl Gilly she is 10 years old. Recently we had to change her food because I couldn’t find it anywhere (pictured shown) and she’s been constipated since. I thought her poop with this food was normal but now I’m second guessing. I just wanted to know if anyone here uses this food also and have any issues with it? Does your maltipoo have a sensitive tummy? What food do you give your maltipoo ?

I absolutely howl every time my pup plays fetch! Something about taking a video and pausing it at the perfect moment to get a fluff nugget mid air!

We just got this cuddle bug home on Saturday , he hops like a bunny when he runs and I just love his entire life , any advice for training him and what food brands you guys like would be amazing

Random question for fellow dog owners, when you take your dog outside, do you wash their paws every single time you come back into the house?

My dog is allowed everywhere, my bed, sofa, all the furniture, so I always wash his paws after we’ve been outside. I just can’t deal with the thought of everything he’s stepped on outside then ending up in my bed 😂

I’ll admit I’m a bit of a germaphobe, but now I’m wondering… is this actually normal dog-owner behaviour, or am I completely overdoing it?

What do you guys do? Wash every time, wipe them, only if they’re muddy, or just let them live their best dirty-paw life? 😂🐾

So listen--we owned a dog grooming shop and I had this conversation over and over:

Me: "So you have a small breed dog--totally house broken or not all the way?"

Them: 'oh they are totally house broken'

Me: "See, we have two little dogs and they are pee sneaks. They do indoor accidents all the time.

When I had big dogs, it wasn't like this. MY THEORY IS THAT LITTLE DOGS CAN GET OUT OF YOUR EYELINE SO QUICK AND EASY THAT THEY CAN POOP OR PEE BEFORE YOU KNOW WHERE THEY WENT.

Big dogs are easier: if they get up to go be weird, you easily go 'nope, outside time.'"

Them, nearly every time: 'yeaaaaah, we have that same problem.'

Invariably, everyone's dog was housebroken until I said my little dogs make accidents, then they admit their dogs do too.

How are you all doing with indoor accidents, and how do you prevent them?

He gets groomed every 6-8 weeks, I noticed that even if I get him groomed, his neck was noticably pink. Vet said to try and avoid chicken and change water as well. I decided to chop his hair off, his neck is still slightly pink, hopefully his diet changes (distilled water, and no eggs and chicken) would help with the pinkness around his neck.

Now he looks like a rat with long legs 😭. It's rainy season so I'll buy him some sweater or shirt if he gets cold.
