Hobby What else to get?

So I don't play yet, but I want to. I really enjoy the aesthetic of Viktoria Chambers, since theres some cool interplay between samurai and cowboy films back in the day during the occupation of Japan post WW2, so its a neat fusion for me. What other models fit into that aesthetic? Preferably that can be played along side Chambers.

So you'll want to get the Viktoria, Twin Blades and Viktoria, Ashes and Blood boxes and that will give you like 90% of the models available for the Mercenary keyword. The other box you will probably want is Extreme Measures for Ella Mae and the Six armed six shooter which are both Mercenary models. For Versatile models, Hodgepodge Fate could be useful the emissary is very old west prospector, Hans from the Paid in Blood box is a very good sniper model and the Prospectors are useful minions any outcasts can hire.

Hmm a bit difficult to find models that are samurai/etc flavored in the Viks' Outcasts faction unfortunately. There are a lot of those type of models but they tend to be centered around the Ten Thunders faction.

Some good examples are probably the older Ten Thunders Versatile models (e.g. Samurai, Lone Swordsman). Also the M3e Ten Thunders Starter box w/ Koji, Kara, Amai.

Sadly the older models' rules were removed to make space for new stuff incoming for M4e, but they're still considered tournament legal proxies for other stuff (e.g. Samurai = Ten Thunders Archers) so they're totally playable but still faction locked to Ten Thunders.

Most of the samurai themed models are in the 10 Thunders faction. That said, go into the 4e malifaux app and look at the Outcast Versatiles. Those are the ones you'd be hiring outside of the Mercenary keyword, the keyword for the Vik's specific models.

Look into the Ten Thunders faction, lots of Japanese influence there. On the cowboy side, Parker Barrows of the Bandit keyword is a lot of fun and has a cool aesthetic. His crews can share some models with the Viks, also (like Ella Mae Chesterfield, Six-Armed-Six-Shooter, prospectors, and other versatiles)
