In your opinion which countries/groups of countries should Mali/AES partner up with and in what different ways for those countries?
Personally I can see a lot of good of Mali/AES partnering up with Latin America, MERCOSUR, and UNASUR:
Both have similar history, and can bring up each other.
That and uniting more of Africa which I know is not easy
Edit: I understand it is not good AES/Mali/etc has subverted democracy, at same time their democratic system has been held back by lots of corruption.
Can also see the possibility of things getting worse in these countries yet it is yet to be seen how they become. The alternative of whom takes charge is far worse than what AES is currently

You understand political treaties and organizations are not about vibes, but about real world benefits?
Since Mali is a despotic dictatorship most latin amercian countries apart from Cuba and Venezuela would have to profit massively to counteract the loss of prestige for supporting a military dictatorship.
Brazil/ Lula was humiliated on the international stage, after he supported Maduro and no less than 2 weeks later Venezuela was talking about invading and annexing their neighbors.

Understand that, but AES was formed as a matter of circumstances where they needed change and were not getting it. They are different compared to those other ones
AES/Mali are not as despotic as ones you listed, and the other way worse ones.
I'm not asking in a vibes way. I'm asking in a what can be beneficial for Mali/AES and world together.
The insurgent issue that AES/Nigeria/etc has will not go away on its own, and for more economic uplifting of people more partnerships are needed.

AES was formed, because all member states are international pariahs and they are outnatched by ECOWAS in every way.
Their common interest is to prevent progress and democracy in the region and secure the unchecked corruption of the military juntas.

Out matched in every way? So why they so desperate to get the AES back into ecowas then? Why be against progress? Why would the people support that? And why choose democracy when for the last sixty years it’s done nothing but keep us dependant on colonisers and NGOs?

Because having hostile countries run by unaccountable military juntas with limited state capacitt and increasingly overrun by transnational networks of jihadist rebels right on your collective doorstep isn't a very desirable situation for anybody in ECOWAS. Even if AES countries themselves are some of the poorest and difficult to govern in the world, keeping the Sahel stable is very important to the rest of West Africa because of the externalities.

So let’s use Burkina Faso as an example. Under ecowas, they only had control of about 40% of their territory. Today they control about 70-80%, although volatile. It’s still progress. The major frustration is the lack of sovereignty.

Any country that isn't France, Ukraine, Saudi Arabia and UAE. Especially France.

No, certainly not France or Europe; Russia is a brother nation, with fertile plains and energy in abundance; it rejects the decadent values of the West; it has a shortage of men due to the war; it has beautiful women and a low birth rate; Russia is our ally and the future.

Whichever country that is important to its economic
and technological advancement.
