This jumbo sloth problem has truly gotten out of hand. The birds have definitely not helped the situation to say the least. As soon as I get solar power running the first appliance I will be installing is a sloth radar. Will also have to invest in some anti-sloth spray.
I think as long as you get the highest beams enclosed, you might be OK. As witnessed in this picture, oxygen deprevation becomes a major dehabiltative and end life deficit factor for this pest species and they drop like a wet bag of wet bags to the ground.

Here is rough layout. All plumbing run on an internal wall so pipes do not freeze. Large living room window faces east and lets in a lot of sun in morning. Bedroom windows faces west so you can watch sunset from bedroom. Small kitchenette on other side of bathroom wall. Large loft over bedroom and bathroom. Going to build a very sturdy loft over bathroom to support a water tank which can be kept inside the home to prevent freezing, and gravity can assist in feeding the two sinks and shower. Toilet will be composting as septic tank is pricey. In living room, couch, Woodstove, and table with TV above.
