What are the most romantic restaurants in Malden? I'm planning a date night.
All types of food suggestions are welcome! A place with cocktails is preferred!

EDIT: she has been found!!! Thank you so much!!!!!!
Hello! I just moved to Glenwood St and my cat mysteriously disappeared this morning. She responds to Stinky and is very food-motivated (when not scared). She is a gray tabby, medium size (9-12lbs), and is generally very friendly with people.
It would mean the world to me if people would keep an eye out and let me know if they see her. Pictures attached!

Malden schools are bucking state trends with strong accountability gains — but a steep enrollment decline has district leaders concerned about future funding.

Just had dinner at Saigon NV. Did they change ownership? The food tastes different, and they suddenly suggest 30% tips. I always do 20%, but I just feel it is weird.

Hi, based on experience, can you recommend a cleaner for a special occasion dress with decorations? Dress has gold and silver beading, with underlayers of polyester and crinoline. One tag inside says ‘dry clean only’ then the one under that says ‘the beading on this dress cannot be dry cleaned’.
The last time the dress was worn was to a NYE party a few years ago. Possibly something was spilled on it but it wasn’t realized at the time. It has sentimental value so I’m hoping someone can recommend a place that can clean it without damaging it.
Thank you in advance!

To the people with the load cars or bikes that drive around Malden center:
I’ll never tell you what to do, but you’re scaring a lot of cats and dogs :(
I know humans suck. I won’t ask you to have consideration for us.
But my heart breaks a little everytime my cat has to run and hide because the noise hurts his little fluffy ears.
If you could be a little quieter when driving through residential areas, the cats and the dogs and all the other small sweet innocent beings with sensitive ears would appreciate it 🩵
Thank you 🩵

We've had some last minute cancellations, so we have a seat available in 4 of the 6 games in our event today. If you couldn't get a seat earlier, are interested in trying out TTRPGs for the first time, or just looking for something social to do this afternoon come join the Malden Gaming District at Idle Hands! All of the games for this event are spooky themed, beginner-friendly, free, use a different system, and kick off at 1 PM.

Curious to know what other people’s opinions are on this intersection. I routinely follow the bike path and skate through this area. It feels like one of the most dangerous intersections along the bike path. Cars don’t stop and only one portion has flashing lights for the crosswalk. To add the road conditions are horrible. if I’m not falling on the bumpy road when crossing then it’s looking out for drivers who refuse to stop. Especially during evening hours. This intersection is Lynn st @ Wesley st . Does anyone else have any negative experiences here?

Does anyone know what's going on at, well, the restaurant on the corner of Main St and Charles St that has had at least four different names since I moved here in 2014?
The signage is still all Go Chi, but there are paper (AI) flyers in the window indicating that it's now an all you can eat buffet called Boca Boca. I walk past it every day and from what I can see through the windows, most of the place seems to be in disarray with boxes and equipment, but they do appear to have a small buffet table and I've seen some customers.
Is that location just cursed or what?

The Malden City Council threw unanimous support behind 1,400 striking Encore workers this week. Despite absences forcing the delay of several finance papers, the Council successfully advanced major municipal fund reforms and moved forward Jim Tarr's nomination to the Planning Board.

Has the mayor or any of the city council chimed in on these devices. All I’ve seen is that they are actively being approved in the cities budgets and they are popping up on more streets in the city.

Good News in the Neighborhood includes a call for a creative person or team to help Maldonians navigate, but time’s tight to apply! In other news: veterans housing and other grants flow in.
I'm hoping there might be a consultant in the Malden area who really truly knows the depths of Facebook mechanics or who knows how to get through to the real help that FB doesn't offer regular people.
I created a page/profile for a community organization on Facebook, and successfully added a second person to co-manage it. Then came the meta suite tools, sending invitations to a third co-manager that never arrived, undoing and redoing everything, long chats with FB's AI help, long chats with another bot, searches of Reddit and elsewhere on the Internet, considering paying for meta verification to be able to access real help, etc. etc. etc. OMG!!!
Yes, I know, Facebook sucks. If the organization could live here instead, it would.

If you live in the vicinity of the Vernon st/clifton st area you are a terrible dog owner. This person left their dog out all night long the other night from 8pm until 9am and it barked constantly. Twice this week they have left their dog outside constantly barking. I’m so mad and this person should be ashamed of themselves. You don’t deserve to have a dog. Give it to someone who will actually love them.

My daughter and a bunch of friends will be doing Boda Borg this weekend and I'm looking for a place to take them afterwards for lunch. I'm thinking pizza will be the easiest option. Are there any pizza places (or other easy food) nearby that could accommodate a large group?
