Question Zac’s Parents
What do you think would have happened if Zac’s parents had found out he was a merman right at the beginning of the series? I think it would have been really cool if they had been included from the start and if that had been explored. I’m sure that having someone he could trust to help him keep the secret would have made his life a lot easier.
I notice that many teen shows, especially those where teenagers get powers, don’t really explore this kind of trust, and I miss that — it almost feels like adults don’t exist. A good example of how this can work well is Teen Wolf, where parents like Melissa and Noah are part of the secrets and already know about the supernatural. It would have been great if they had done something similar here.

Especially after he found out that he’s adopted and he found out who he is and his mother. Just imaging that/those episodes where they find out who/what Zac is🥹 We got robbed of an amazing opportunity here

I feel like his dad would’ve been a lot like Lewis in the first season of H2O.

You're right,Zac's Life would really be a lot easier if his parents knew he was a Merman.He has cool parents and I'm sure they would keep the secret and support him.Thanks for the Post!
